Resort Hotels in Batam

Staff is very friendly. They gave us a connecting room even though we only booked a normal room. Hotel is quite old, and some of the facilities are quite worn out. But overall is still good for this price point. Location is good too. Walked straight out and you can locate numerous restaurants.

Travelling with 2 children my wife didn’t know what to expect driving up Nongsa resort, but what an oasis. The marina is a sight to behold, literally on your door step, the pool is a lagoon type that stretches over 25 metres and the views across the ocean was breathless. The staff were amazing especially those working in the restaurant. Our accommodation was a chalet, 2 bedroom across 2 levels. It was very clean, if a little worn, but it contained all amenities to allow you to be self sufficient. We would recommend getting some items to stock the pantry if you need to as the nearest mart is a few clicks away. Though there was a mini mart on site. The buffet breakfast was amazing with a strong selection of local favourites. We cannot recommend Nongsa Marina Resort highly enough. Value for money and definitely coming back.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. Check in was fast and hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location of the villa is good, walking distance to nearby seafood restaurant. Distance to shopping malls is not too far too as you can easily get a Gojek there. It is around 6km to BCS mall and A2 food court. One down side I feel was the lack of variety for the breakfast, it would be good if there is buffet spread. The music from the neighbouring cafe/pub was pretty loud till which could disturb guests who may be there to chill n relax. It didn't bother me very much probably I was tired out so slept pretty well. Overall a pleasant experience staying in this resort. Highly recommended for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway.

The website looks great .. especially for the price! But the rooms are terrible, filthy , ripped bed sheets dirty mattress and linen .. that really put me off instantly. The bathrooms need a full makeover! Shame as a good size but just need some real love!! The location is good for the ferry but the area is very quiet and remote . The resort has water sports but sadly no beach so it’s pool or nothing. The breakfast was good, lunch there is only that same restaurant available which is fine for a short stay but longer and I think it would be an issue . The pool was nice , the net hammocks on the jetty are very cool especially at sunset . But the small lagoon infront of the wooden hut apartments is bleak. The best part for us was the bar for sunset Great as had a different food menu and some music ( all though crazy loud when opens ) but doesn’t open til 4.30 so it’s not like you can chose that for lunch! There was a beautiful temple / statue on the property that I was told people come to visit . This was very impressive to see , the tiny shop next to however was the only other place to grab a drink very limited snack in the day and was cash only which was tricky . For a one night stay it’s totally fine and a bargain but more isn’t ideal. We were told there was a beach ten mins away but private and there is a cost to use it plus no snorkelling so we decided to stay put and just chill by the pool. The staff were good very nice and friendly . the transfer was brilliant from the ferry terminal. It looked to me that there was maybe some refurbish happening along the jetty, maybe with a little TLC the resort would be a pleasant short trip location for someone exploring Batam and the surrounding islands . sunset was amazing I will say! Looking across at Singapore too. The little camper van touch was cute , they were selling coconut water from there I was told . Very nice addition

I stayed with my husband in 3505 for 2 nights. This resort is Perfect for all sorts of travellers, business, solo couples or families! Decent breakfast spread starting as early as 6am so you can have a hearty meal before you go about your day. There’s a games room with pool tables, darts and foosball tables - fun for friends, families and couples. A huge swimming pool for both grown ups and kids, a tranquil spa and a kids room for the little ones. The room, although some have commented that it’s slightly dated, it is very well maintained! Plenty of TV channels, room size was spacious and everything was functioning well. Not to mention it was very clean as well and bright with a lot of natural light. We were upgraded to the suite, with a nice view of the pool. There hotel grounds were always clean. We came across landscaping staff keeping their plants tidy. There wasn’t a single fallen leaf in the pool! Sunbeds were kept dry and clean for guests. All the staff of Holiday Inn Resort Batam have certainly made us smile with their friendly service, namely Dinda, Ocha, Raya and Angga (I hope I spelled their names right.) I didn’t manage to get the names of the staff at the restaurant during breakfast hours but I hope the management will also extend my praises to them after seeing this post. The chefs, the live station cooks and all the service staff greeted us whenever they see us. They promptly cleared plates and offered freshly brewed coffee (the caramel latte was good!). Also kudos to housekeeping for keeping our rooms fresh. Location was slightly outside the city area but we had no problems getting anywhere with Grab. Also - the welcome cookies were yummy! :)

Batam View Beach Resort was recently refurbished, so hallways and rooms have an updated look with dark wood hues giving it a bit of modernness. The building has also been given a fresh cost of white paint, giving it a fresh feeling. The gaudy light signboard no longer adorns the main entrance. Despite the updates, the property occasionally exudes tiredness: the signage at the entrance is really dated and when we first saw it, we had some apprehension on how the experience would be (think wildness school camping). But our fears were unfounded as the entered the property: it was clean and modern enough for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink. It was a refreshing welcoming from the warm weather outside. The chairs in the restaurant were tired and the chairs were sunken a little uncomfortable to sit. It would have been if they could be updated for a more comfortable experience. Now on to the food, we had lunch, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Lunch was pretty standard but nothing to shout about. There was rice, soup, noodle and other sides, fruits and desserts that while palatable, again were nothing to rave about. During lunch, the only weird encounter I had was with the chocolate jelly; chocolate does not do well in a jelly. Breakfast was buffet style. The staff at the entrance will ask for your room number before being let in for breakfast. It was a fuss free experience. The buffet breakfast had typical fare such as rice, noodles, porridge, bread, cereal and an egg station with the usual fare you see at breakfast. There’s a kelong within the property which serves up pretty decent seafood if you want something nearby and do not want to travel out. For dinner, as it was a team event, they set the area near the pool to be an open space buffet for dinner with a stage for the activities. While the experience was good and fun (food again was average), I cannot imagine the noise pollution for the other guests staying on the property. The party went on to the night at about 10pm, and I spotted a couple of guests coming out of their rooms to see what was happening. So, if you are staying here for leisure, something to take note of. They have a little pet / animal corner which I wanted to check out but had not time to do so We had a room on the second floor. The hallway was brightly lit and due to the recent refurbishment, it was a pleasant environment. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a clean room with 2 beds. There was ample of space to hang clothes and a luggage space for 2 medium luggage. The closet was open, basically just a pole above the luggage space with about 6 hangers provided. Housekeeping was good, but not excellent as there a strand of long hair in one of the pillow cases, and there was a little bit of dust on the shelves. Here are my reviews for turi beach resort, as my first time solo travellers. The locals are nice, the location is good too. With welcome drinks once you check in the hotel( which i did not drink as i was busy checking in but looks delicious 🤤). It was good to unwind, to relax your mental health. The staff gave me a nice room which made me more appreciated. The only thing I'm not okay with is there is no lotion in the room which makes me a little bit sad as i expected to have one. But the overall experience is good. I love the place and the staff are friendliness. I also love the sunset and sunrise . Especially at the island bar restaurant.I will definitely come back there

Rifai and septian is so awesome, they acknowledge every single small things i need.. they are friendly they took care of us.. we really appreciate them so much. They even buy me medicine for my tummy ache.. they really have a good leadership,hopefull every staff will follow their example. They are a role model. They deserve a promotion

view was great, it’s the kind of view that you wish to wake up to every morning. private pool and the place was overall quite clean as well. buffet breakfast has a wide spread of cuisine and food (mostly local food though). the only downside is the location and the security. since the place is very far off from the city, if you were to go back late at night, the road to montigo is super dark, no street lights at all so i would recommend going back early. finding a grab to the city was always relatively hard, took quite some time. the main door of the villa is see through and not really secure so just lock your bedrooms at night :)
