It is an old hotel, but it is well maintained and it is connected to a modern life style, near local culinary and having a good entertainment with roof top bar. The hotel is only 1.5 km from the Batam Centre terminal. It is convenient. The decor of the hotel is unique. It has an Egyptian theme. Also very convenient to go anywhere as the private service is cheap, good and efficient. Value for money. Hotel is not big and the staff is friendly.

I and my wife finally booked and had a chance to stay in Harmoni One Hotel. It was a crowded and busy place before covid-19 outbreak. Proud to see how this hotel still struggle to survive, but also sad at the same time witnessing how empty and quite this place now. Harmoni One still operates hotel room for guesses at 2nd floor. We heard and saw 1-2 other guess at our floor. We stayed in Room 210, deluxed room including breakfast. with wide glass window facing to under construction of Batam One Mall and bushes of surrounding old area. Checked in 5/May/2021 for a nght stay. Thank you to Ms. Rita, he front desk staff who was kindl assited us during check in and make sure our needs in the room is fulfilled. Hotel building looks luxury, located close to Lottemart and Sundanese Warung. Room was spacious, with king size bed, sofa bed ,furniture, mini bar, complimentary coffee/tea and water kettle. Surprising to have a bathtub...so the toilet itself has almost half of bed room's size. However, we understood this hotel is not new, so old carpet smell is unavoided. Internet was good and strong. Room has tv cable with 40 local and foreign channels. They served the breakfast by ala carte menu for main course and fruits, and let bread/toast, juices, coffee/tea stall open for self service. Nasi goreng was good and tasty. The staffs on duty and 1 high shool trainee available on-spot to help. Swimming pool and fitness center at 6th floor are open 9AM-6PM, but we did not try it because this place seems not attended by any staff. We can sleep well in the room. Thank you for the staying experience in this hotel, and wish all the best for the management and staffs to keep their spirit high in serving during this trying condition. Room is very clean and spacious. Service is great too. Realised the kettle is not working well, requested for it to be changed and it was quick response. Had the complimentary shuttle service at 11am and 5pm to Nagoya Hill Shopping centre and Grand Batam Mall. There is only indomart nearby. You have to take grab out but that’s not an issue as it’s very cheap. But sad to say that the lounge and rooftop bar are very quiet. No one at all. Other than that, experience there was awesome!

Staff is very friendly. They gave us a connecting room even though we only booked a normal room. Hotel is quite old, and some of the facilities are quite worn out. But overall is still good for this price point. Location is good too. Walked straight out and you can locate numerous restaurants.

Tonight is our last night here in Eska. All good. Water heater, thick towels(some hotel's has very thin towels), hairdryer. A/C was working well. Mini fridge was ok. Not that cold. No funky smell in the room & bathroom, clean. Lobby is clean. Housekeeping team was great. Breakfast platter was good too. The bed was not bad($40+, yeah). Only the pillows thou. I find it quite flat. Haha. And Kepri Mall is permanently closed. So, its little quiet. I would suggest to get yourself a prepaid card for data*get a bigger Gb, if you likes watching Netflix or videos*. Just to standby. Hehe! We arrived on the Friday afternoon, Wifi connection, TV was all fine. But, when we came back that night prolly around 10pm ish. there is no Wifi connection at all till the next mrng. But now, 12.38am, Sat night. Wifi was good. Idk whether the connection or what. I just used up my data yesterday😅 to surf the internet. We didnt try the spa here, because we had our regular massage place else where. And theres a restraunt at the roof top. Very nice. But didnt get a chance to sit there, as its raining. Yeaa. Overall, worth the stay. Only the Wifi thingy.

The room is convenient for us, girls of 4. Our two rooms is good and we got a chance to swimminh in the pool. Easy access as it is located next to the food market in Nagoya. We order massage in room at midnight and it is superb.

Having white husband, we often feelings bit intimidated by people staring at us. But in Kings Hotel, both staff and the guest just treat us like normal person. Room is very big, clean and newly renovated. Hallway very clean, no stale smells of carpet. Breakfast spread is satisfying, proper coffee from proper machine (yaiy....). Kids club is our daily destination after breakfast and before dinner, as the kids love to ”school” there. Just little bit too small, maybe they should move the kids club to pool area so it can cater more kids :) Sufficient nature and outdoor area, so we don't just stuck in the room or lobby, we enjoy walking within the hotel to pick leaves, flower and sticks without scared by traffic. Swimming pool is very basic and nothing fancy, but the water is very very clean and always warm. If you don't feel like eating from hotel restaurants, there lot of stall next to the hotel selling food or just grab food deliver to the Lobby. We might stay here again when we back to Batam.

Is old aPar**ent not much variety, but place for relaxing good.. love this hotel got kitchen..this hotel shud upgrade sure got many guest will come..toilet alot no working..staff very friendly..bad is towel or any extra stuff have to paid ..

Here annually, because of its superb location - near a large mall, near several massage centres (my perennial favourite being Thai best), near several excellent food places (must check out Mickey Mouse 66, as well as the coffee shops in its vicinity), near several wholesale shops but they do sell individual items (fantastic branded knock-offs at fantastic prices). As for the hotel itself, rooms are large; with basic amenities and free mineral water. Concierge is reliably helpful, friendly and efficient. Receptionists (same air of sulkiness, whoever is manning the station, whatever time) and buffet breakfasts (why eat here when there are superb choices nearby) are consistently below average, whether the hotel was “Gideon” or is “Gideon by Aston”.
