Batam Center Hotels with Swimming Pools

I don't even know how to begin... overall, the service staff were very friendly. We knew the hotel was old so we were expecting the worst but got a newly renovated room instead and that was nice. But the renovation felt incomplete with a number of issues / poorly done, and weird things like a very very rusty shower soap rack (because it's clearly newly renovated, why is it rusty???). Amenities wise there's a hair dryer, 2 bottles and complimentary coffee and tea packets. Nothing in minibar. Room was spacious, but the safe was spoilt and way too small (barely can keep iPad level small). There's only one door lock and no extra chain lock on the door. I mean I didn't feel unsafe unsafe but at the same time I knew it was not really safe. The water turned a bit brown for about 3 minutes the first night (we suspect rust?) but didn't appear any more after. Drainage was okay but can be improved. Towels were stained and bedsheets not pristine. It's beside a school, so expect some noise if your staying in the morning on weekdays. There was also an air freshener in the room that went off every hour (literally every hour throughout the night) but I'm pretty 100% sure there was nothing in the air freshener. The weirdest part was the outside of the hotel - not the hotel property itself but the road leading up to it. It seemed completely abandoned and like it could collapse anytime. Overall - would not stay again but if no other choice, can make do. Paid about $160 for 3 nights.

I and my wife finally booked and had a chance to stay in Harmoni One Hotel. It was a crowded and busy place before covid-19 outbreak. Proud to see how this hotel still struggle to survive, but also sad at the same time witnessing how empty and quite this place now. Harmoni One still operates hotel room for guesses at 2nd floor. We heard and saw 1-2 other guess at our floor. We stayed in Room 210, deluxed room including breakfast. with wide glass window facing to under construction of Batam One Mall and bushes of surrounding old area. Checked in 5/May/2021 for a nght stay. Thank you to Ms. Rita, he front desk staff who was kindl assited us during check in and make sure our needs in the room is fulfilled. Hotel building looks luxury, located close to Lottemart and Sundanese Warung. Room was spacious, with king size bed, sofa bed ,furniture, mini bar, complimentary coffee/tea and water kettle. Surprising to have a bathtub...so the toilet itself has almost half of bed room's size. However, we understood this hotel is not new, so old carpet smell is unavoided. Internet was good and strong. Room has tv cable with 40 local and foreign channels. They served the breakfast by ala carte menu for main course and fruits, and let bread/toast, juices, coffee/tea stall open for self service. Nasi goreng was good and tasty. The staffs on duty and 1 high shool trainee available on-spot to help. Swimming pool and fitness center at 6th floor are open 9AM-6PM, but we did not try it because this place seems not attended by any staff. We can sleep well in the room. A new hotel… location near to Mega Mall and Batam Centre Seaport… BUT… if walk to these places not safe… the hotel doesn’t provide free transportation to these places but Paid transportation are provided… But you can call GRAB services if need transport… The room was nice and clean but the hotel provide 1 key so once you are out.. the room will be hot and stuffy… It takes 1 hour plus to cool the room… The toilet was spacious… The breakfast average… the food was not replenished fast enough… this I think is management issues not ensure sufficient staff to meet the demand… the food handling no gloves so direct Hands on your food… So you judge yourself to stay…

Hotel feels a little aged, which eats into its cleanliness score. Located right beside the ferry terminal and across mega mall where shops abound. Amazing service where staff are always happy and willing to assist. Fulfilled my request for birthday surprise by decorating my bed with cute balloon and towel figurines as pictured. Breakfast spread was great and of good quality. Enjoyed my stay here. Thank you.

The location is great, close to the beach, and the price is right. This time it was a business trip. I chose the apartment for half a day because of its location and cost-effectiveness. It is very fast to get to other places in Batam. The key is that the ferry terminal is next door, which is very convenient to Singapore.

The resort location is near central Batam, accessible to many places of interest. It's modern and clean, and the Christmas decoration was lovely! The staffs are helpful and friendly, I lost my pouch during my stay and they were extremely helpful to retrieve it for me. Only downside is maybe the breakfast buffet could be better. There is great variety, but the quality leaves things to be desired.
