I and my wife finally booked and had a chance to stay in Harmoni One Hotel. It was a crowded and busy place before covid-19 outbreak. Proud to see how this hotel still struggle to survive, but also sad at the same time witnessing how empty and quite this place now. Harmoni One still operates hotel room for guesses at 2nd floor. We heard and saw 1-2 other guess at our floor. We stayed in Room 210, deluxed room including breakfast. with wide glass window facing to under construction of Batam One Mall and bushes of surrounding old area. Checked in 5/May/2021 for a nght stay. Thank you to Ms. Rita, he front desk staff who was kindl assited us during check in and make sure our needs in the room is fulfilled. Hotel building looks luxury, located close to Lottemart and Sundanese Warung. Room was spacious, with king size bed, sofa bed ,furniture, mini bar, complimentary coffee/tea and water kettle. Surprising to have a bathtub...so the toilet itself has almost half of bed room's size. However, we understood this hotel is not new, so old carpet smell is unavoided. Internet was good and strong. Room has tv cable with 40 local and foreign channels. They served the breakfast by ala carte menu for main course and fruits, and let bread/toast, juices, coffee/tea stall open for self service. Nasi goreng was good and tasty. The staffs on duty and 1 high shool trainee available on-spot to help. Swimming pool and fitness center at 6th floor are open 9AM-6PM, but we did not try it because this place seems not attended by any staff. We can sleep well in the room. Thank you for the staying experience in this hotel, and wish all the best for the management and staffs to keep their spirit high in serving during this trying condition. Big & clean room with a flat screen TV. Only downside is there are no disposable slippers for the toilet. Location wise, 10/10. Plenty of eateries & convience shops nearby. There are night markets around the area too. For activities, there are go-karts, carnival, water themepark & many more for you to indulge. Overall, it's a good place to stay. We've stayed here for 5 days & overall satisfied with our experience.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. Check in was fast and hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location of the villa is good, walking distance to nearby seafood restaurant. Distance to shopping malls is not too far too as you can easily get a Gojek there. It is around 6km to BCS mall and A2 food court. One down side I feel was the lack of variety for the breakfast, it would be good if there is buffet spread. The music from the neighbouring cafe/pub was pretty loud till which could disturb guests who may be there to chill n relax. It didn't bother me very much probably I was tired out so slept pretty well. Overall a pleasant experience staying in this resort. Highly recommended for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway.

Very new and clean hotel. Breakfast spread was ok but the seats are too limited for a weekend crowd. The kids enjoy the spacious room with bath tub in the family room. Overall it’s worth staying and we will be back soon. Thank you.

Some room r good with window looking out the city, but some room window looks at the wall 😔 really bad

It’s a very new hotel. The bed was very comfortable and Breakfast was very good, in terms of variety and quality. Many food options and massage place at its surrounding area, you don’t have to leave the place to have a good relaxing time.

Here annually, because of its superb location - near a large mall, near several massage centres (my perennial favourite being Thai best), near several excellent food places (must check out Mickey Mouse 66, as well as the coffee shops in its vicinity), near several wholesale shops but they do sell individual items (fantastic branded knock-offs at fantastic prices). As for the hotel itself, rooms are large; with basic amenities and free mineral water. Concierge is reliably helpful, friendly and efficient. Receptionists (same air of sulkiness, whoever is manning the station, whatever time) and buffet breakfasts (why eat here when there are superb choices nearby) are consistently below average, whether the hotel was “Gideon” or is “Gideon by Aston”.

Breakfast was good, variety was ok on the weekend, however need improve the variety bfast on weekday. We stayed for 5 Night on 14 - 19 Oct and staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful, especially for Rafft for making our stay extra enjoyable with his great service. Comfy bed, and big bathroom. the location of the hotel is very strategic in the city center and if you want to go to the mall or look for other food options it's only walking distance.

Distance from the harbour bay ferry terminal was about 10 mins by car. For those taking private hire, there's a grab/gojek pick-up point outside the mall. Just turn left when you exit arrivals, walk past starbucks and marriott. There's an open air shelter with a gojek sign. We stayed in a smoking room on the 18th floor. Check-in and check out were smooth. Staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. The room was decently sized and reasonably clean with a small balcony. Yes, it was a bit worn down, but for the low price point, it's quite acceptable. No smart tv, but i think over 40 cable channels on the flat screen. AC was cool, and the king-size bed was comfortable with 4 pillows. Small fridge was in good working condition, kept our drinks nice and cold. We were provided only one pair of bedroom slippers instead of two but not an issue. Housekeeping comes by early and daily, which is good. Appreciate the separate shower cubicle and bathtub. Bottled water, tea/coffee, and toiletries provided. Water pressure was good and water temp can go to hot. Strangely, the tap at the bathroom sink could not stay cold. After running for a minute, water would turn hot no matter which way we turned the tap. Caution though, the floor in the bathroom was very slippery when wet. The balcony had a double glass door, probably to cut down on the noise. There's a mosque on the side that we stayed, which had quite constant recitations, so for those sensitive to noise, you might need to request a quieter side. Breakfast was alright, not very varied, but had all the expected stations like egg, cereal, etc. and tasted good. I like that the staff were quite quick to collect your empty plates. No shops around the area but there are fast food and nasi padang if you don't mind walking 10 to 15 mins. Or just get a grab to any mall. All in all, we would return to this hotel.
