Red Frog Beach Island Resort

Anyone giving this 5-stars is not sharing the truth. It has the potential to be 5-stars but the place is extremely rundown and in need of major maintenance. If it cost 50% less then would be 5-stars as much better value for the money at lower cost, but its currently extremely overpriced for being so rundown. Pre-trip planning was poor as no transportation was setup for us even though we reserved and no tours were setup even though we reserved. New management started over a year ago and disappointing that there has been zero improvement. Much of the info on the website is out of date, and numerous items were always out of stock at the restaurant. The positive is Sergio and Stephanie did a great job and coordinated great tours for us. There’s lots of potential, but may need another change in management to fix.

Beautiful resort and beaches. Amazing weather, clean beaches and breathtaking views. From the front desk to the bar/restaurant staff, they make you feel like a VIP! Highly recommend Red Frog Beach Resort! Make sure to do the zip line course. Definitely will return!

Had a wonderful time with my family! The staff is absolutely wonderful and the island is to die for! Very quiet and secluded with great restaurants and great beaches. Beautiful walks and one of the most peaceful spas I have ever been too! Saw tons of beautiful animals and plants. Highly recommend!

My family and friends spent the holidays at red frog bungalows. There is so much to do you will never get bored. 11/10 would recommend great service great food. My family and friends will be traveling again as soon as possible. Book your stay as soon as you can!!!

A wonderful resort. I cannot say enough about how well I have been treated! You would think I was a celebrity. The staff and management have been very helpful and friendly. They have gone out of their way to schedule boat tours for me and respond immediately to any request I have had. The island has a lot of wildlife and I've seen many birds, monkeys, sloths and red frogs! The property is beautiful and well manicured great for walking. The spa services were fantastic. I look forward to returning next year!

Traveling alone I cannot say enough about how well I have been treated here from the moment I arrived. You would think I was a celebrity. The property landscape is absolutely magnificent and well maintained. There is a lot of wildlife to see along all the roads and trails. You will need to walk and take a boat to get the most out of your experience here just like anywhere else in this country. It is not a zoo. If you don't like to walk or boats I would suggest not coming to Panama at all. Of course the place needs some maintenance it is in the jungle on an island again no different then the dozens of other places I have visited here and around the world. The staff is exceptional and everyone here is very friendly.
