Casa Cayuco Eco-Adventure Lodge

Recently returned from a wonderful week trip at Casa Cayuco – we truly had an amazing time. We are a family of 5 and stayed at the Estrella del Mar villa – what a delightful space that was. Every step of the way, from the pickup in Bocas town to the daily adventures, to the meals and afternoon snacks, chats on the pier and to the drop off in Bocas town one week later (yes, there were many tears on the morning of our departure), the wonderful staff took amazing care of us. I felt like we were family by the end of our stay. We are all vegan and we had some really delicious meals and juices, always felt full and very nourished. All the adventures (and we did just about all of them) were so fun and the captains were incredible – mostly we were blessed with Velemir and Josue who took the time to show us their love for this beautiful island and all that the waters and land have to offer. It was so wonderful to hike, swim, snorkel and explore with them. There was such lovely energy and kindness from all the staff – Jose, Lady, Poula, Julian, Demitrio, Camilo and especially Alondra who answered all my questions, created an excitement weeks before our arrival and was simply a wonderful, cheerful host. We all felt blessed that they shared their little slice of paradise with us. I could go on and on - just go so you can experience this lovely place.

Incredibly nice and excellent - the team foremost, and everything else! A very warm welcome, highly attentive service, superb location, excellent lodge and accommodation, great excursions (Casa Cayuco Trail, Mangrove snorkelling, Salt Creek village). Fantastic guide. Great captains. Yummy homemade food and superb cocktails. The right balance between comfort and environmentally responsible. Gotta go soon again!

Casa Cayuco met every expectation and more. My family and our friends all stayed at the villa and had a great time. The staff went above and beyond in every step of the way. Our trip started with an easy transfer to their location. They set up the rooms to our specifications, so all the kids could be in the same room. Every meal had our family in mind and they sat down with you daily to see what they could do better. The excursions were great, although we also had a blast just using the free equipment and playing in the water. The staff was kind, friendly and seemed to truly enjoy being part of your stay. Alondra, Lady, Jose along with the rest of the staff made it a stay we will not soon forget!

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Cayuco. My wife and I travelled with our two children and it was the best vacation we could have asked for. The beach was just steps away from the house and the sand is nice with calm, shallow water perfect for the kids to swim in. We stayed in the Estrella del Mar house that was very spacious and comfortable with 3 large bedrooms with AC in the rooms. The food was all freshly prepared and the staff took great care to make our stay magical for our family - can't recommend this place enough. Worth every penny!

A fantastic place. Everything is at your own pace, with plenty of daily activities to do or to relax by/in the water. The food is pescatarian and wonderful!! Fresh and tasty. We were there for a week and never had a duplicate meal. The people/staff are all wonderful, offering good advice and companionship.

Wow, just wow. This place is so amazing. The food, the scenery, the peaceful, laid back vibe, the incredibly kind and friendly staff… all of it was just perfect. If you are looking for an off the beaten path, sustainable adventure in nature, this is your place! We loved our gorgeous food, the delicious, mostly vegetarian food, the relaxing space and plenty of adventures to choose from if you want to snorkel, explore monkey island, bat caves and more! You can also just put your feet up and chill. This is a really special place. Thank you Alondra, Paola, Jose and all the team!
