Hotels near Western America Railroad Museum in Barstow

The location of the hotel is very good, under the high speed, press Google Navigation to open directly to the lobby door. The hotel has an elevator and it is big enough (the elevators in European hotels are too small). The breakfast was quite rich, at least there was meat (this is no match for domestic or Japanese, Europe). It was very interesting to make waffles for the first time. Later, I found that many American hotels have their own waffles. The air conditioning sound of the room was a bit loud. After studying it for a while, I still couldn't turn it off. I was tired and fell asleep. The next day I got up late, just to catch the opposite outlet to open the door, first go shopping, understand the downside. There is a gas station on the side of the hotel, which is very convenient.

We stayed here in room 421 on 8/22/22. It was our third stay in three years. We found the staff helpful and pleasant, the room was good sized, quiet and comfortable. It faces the front of the hotel. The bathroom is large with lots of counter space. There is a fridge with a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and TV . The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The internet was fine for checking email and surfing the web. Breakfast was typical of a Hampton and ran from 5 am to 10 am. We liked that it was available so early. Upon arrival (around 6 pm), we found free coffee, tea, and cookies available which was nice. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is a short distance (under 6 min.) from I-15. There are several restaurants within a short drive (10 min. or less) from the hotel. We will stay here the next time we are in Barstow.

Very clean very pleasant place to stay very safe and quite place to stay the people are very nice and easy check in and out I would recommend this motel to everyone. They are always right there if you need anything . The parking is great no problems.

After a long day of traveling Jessica checked us in and she was happy, friendly and helpful. I’m a fussy traveler and our room was great. Clean, fluffy towels, comfortable king bed, tv, refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was great. I would definitely make a reservation here. There is also a swimming pool and hot tub.

The breakfast is rich, no beef, but intestines, eggs, bread, fruit, salad, etc. I didn’t ask for an extra bed. We are a 1.8-meter large bed room. The hotel is located halfway from the Grand Canyon to Los Angeles. There are shopping places such as Wal-Mart and Outlets around. The location is very convenient. There are many parking spaces and free parking. . Cost-effective.

This was a practice trip and the first time we tried traveling with our dogs, so we didn't venture too far from home (San Diego). This is apparently a popular truck stop with lots of trucks parked across the street in a large open areas. There was easy access to walking areas for the dogs, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. For all these reasons, we give this 5 stars in spite of the super cold windy weather, and ”radium in drinking water is higher than acceptable” warning on the door, and the ”B” rating on the diner next store (maybe because of the water?). :-) Anyway, none of this the fault of the hotel and overall a good stop when traveling with pets.
