From Los Angeles to Las Vegas, choose to stay here for one night. The location is very convenient. There are more places to eat around. You can walk there, and the free parking lot is very convenient. We didn't expect much from the high demand for accommodation. I didn't think it was really good. The room was very comfortable, spacious, the bathroom was big enough, the partition was reasonable, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast of the next day was also unexpected. We occasionally ate very well. In short, it was very good and worth recommending! !

The sound insulation effect is a bit poor. Everything else is fine, clean and hygienic, the room is large and comes with matching kitchen supplies, so it's good for a short stay. Due to late night check-in. The room card is ready at the front desk. The pre-authorized deposit will be refunded quickly

After a long day of traveling Jessica checked us in and she was happy, friendly and helpful. I’m a fussy traveler and our room was great. Clean, fluffy towels, comfortable king bed, tv, refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was great. I would definitely make a reservation here. There is also a swimming pool and hot tub.

I was tired and fell asleep. The next day I got up late, just to catch the opposite outlet to open the door, first go shopping, understand the downside. There is a gas station on the side of the hotel, which is very convenient.

We stayed here in room 421 on 8/22/22. It was our third stay in three years. We found the staff helpful and pleasant, the room was good sized, quiet and comfortable. It faces the front of the hotel. The bathroom is large with lots of counter space. There is a fridge with a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and TV . The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The internet was fine for checking email and surfing the web. Breakfast was typical of a Hampton and ran from 5 am to 10 am. We liked that it was available so early. Upon arrival (around 6 pm), we found free coffee, tea, and cookies available which was nice. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is a short distance (under 6 min.) from I-15. There are several restaurants within a short drive (10 min. or less) from the hotel. We will stay here the next time we are in Barstow.

This was a practice trip and the first time we tried traveling with our dogs, so we didn't venture too far from home (San Diego). This is apparently a popular truck stop with lots of trucks parked across the street in a large open areas. There was easy access to walking areas for the dogs, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. For all these reasons, we give this 5 stars in spite of the super cold windy weather, and ”radium in drinking water is higher than acceptable” warning on the door, and the ”B” rating on the diner next store (maybe because of the water?). :-) Anyway, none of this the fault of the hotel and overall a good stop when traveling with pets.

Very clean very pleasant place to stay very safe and quite place to stay the people are very nice and easy check in and out I would recommend this motel to everyone. They are always right there if you need anything . The parking is great no problems.

JjimcN847LYIt is always interesting to read recent reviews of hotels that one has also stayed at, to compare impressions. One recent one of this place was rather negative, and I can understand why, even though I don't agree. If that same person had stayed here several times over the past decade, as I have, they might have seen things differently. This is so much nicer now, under new ownership. Lots of new paint, new appliances, new carpet... lighting is still a bit of an issue, but they have plans to work on that. I don't get the comment about no storage: two drawers are right under the TV, and the closet is a walk-in! Lots of room in the bathroom and the shower is big, and the water is hot. I used the lighted make-up table as a work area: more than ample. The bed has firm without being rock-hard: perfect for my back. Thin walls, of course, but I already knew that from previous visits. Breakfast used to be in the lobby, and it was only coffee, OJ, cereal and pastries. Now there is a cafeteria, with cereal, coffee, milk and juices, a waffle maker, sausages, eggs (they come out square, but that's what they are), fresh fruit, bread and bagels for toasting, ”donettes”... so much more filling and nourishing than before. And there are plenty of nearby places to eat, if one prefers. Bottom line: the new owners appear to have done their homework on this motel. They saw the potential and did some immediate work to make it more attractive on the outside, as well as did some nice upgrades inside, while keeping to the basic Econo Lodge rates. They told me that they have more work planned, and they listened to my suggestions and comments. At about $50 a night (including taxes), I don't expect concierge service, but I really think that I got excellent value this trip, and several others staying here while I was had the same thing to say. I give this five stars on the ”budget lodgings” scale.

TTIANLocated next to the Barstow Expressway, the hotel is ideal for those who are on the road. Sanitary conditions are acceptable, there is a small balcony outside the window to dry clothes. There is a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, which can be eaten by yourself, which is almost standard on the motel. The bath water is very hot, the water flow is big enough and very comfortable. But tap water can't be drunk, a bit of a taste. At that time, I wanted to eat instant noodles.
