Amazing service and beautiful boutique resort island. Just perfect

If you're seeking late-night parties and DJs, this might not be the resort for you. Now, let's dive into the details. The resort is conveniently located just a 20-25 minute speedboat ride from Male airport. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the island is small enough to walk around in 15-20 minutes. We stayed in a beach villa with a private pool and half-board. The pool was shaded by palm trees during the hottest parts of the day, and the beach was simply perfect. The online photos might appear a bit dated, but the reality is much better. Our dedicated butler, Reema, was incredibly kind and attentive, making our babymoon special with hot baths, flower arrangements, and private celebrations. She took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The resort features three restaurants and a charming bar. The food at Lime, the main restaurant, was exceptional—everything we tried was delicious. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't extensive, it was complemented by an à la carte menu that offered a variety of tasty options. Lala made our dinners extra special with his food recommendations and attentiveness to our preferences. Overall, our entire trip was a success, and the Baros team truly made it memorable. Things to know: - Transfers are chargeable by the hotel. Ensure you inform them of your arrival flight 2 days in advance and get confirmation on your transfer. - The hotel is very relaxed and private, making it ideal for newlyweds, honeymooners, and families with older children. - The resort offers daily activities, including excursions, snorkeling trips, cruises, yoga, and more. Some activities are chargeable, while others are free, and all necessary gear is available at the Marine Center at no cost. We would visit again.

This was my fourth trip to the Maldives but first in many years. In the past I always stayed at an island that required an airline transfer + flight which took another half-day or more. This time I chose Baros based off reviews, being part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and location. The location could not have been better. After landing in Male it took about 5 minutes to deplane + another 5 to go through immigration and customs. Moments later I was met by the hotel staff and placed on a speedboat. 30 minutes later was I was in paradise and headed to my villa. The entire staff was exceptional and Sita took care of EVERYTHING. The villa was beautiful, the beaches pristine, the meals delicious, the service top-notch, and the dolphin cruise was extraordinary. I cannot wait to return!

The water house we stayed in had a swimming pool. The room was big and there was a beautiful sea view on the balcony. From the moment we left the airport, the guy who picked us up, the guy on the speedboat, and the guy who sent us off really provided excellent service. When we arrived at the hotel pier, the management staff led the service staff to warmly welcome us on the island. When we left, they waved goodbye at the pier until they disappeared into the vast ocean... My English is not good, but I met Bonan, a girl from Baoji, China, on the island. She enthusiastically and proactively provided us with high-quality service, introduced us to information about the island, took our orders, booked boats, and delivered things to our room over and over again on hot days. When the room cleaner didn't clean for us, change towels, take out the trash, or deliver mineral water, she personally went to the room to serve us... I don't know why the room cleaner didn't serve us. I turned over the sign for room cleaning twice, but found it was turned back when I returned to the room. The room was still not cleaned. I don't know if I didn't tip the night I came. I didn't have change that day, so I went to the front desk to change change after dinner. However, there was no room service from the second to the third night. It was not until I told Bonan that the bathroom trash can was full and the mineral water was finished that Bonan came to the bathroom to watch over it, and then they started cleaning. I chose this hotel because they have a high score of 4.9. To be honest, all the services and details of the hotel are very good, but the behavior of the room boy really makes me feel that he is holding the hotel back and letting the chain down. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management so that all tourists who come to the beautiful Baros Island can return happily...

The rooms are comfortable, the island is peaceful, and the service is excellent. It is a great place to relax.

I like it very much. The room has been partially renovated and is suitable for snorkeling. I recommend it to everyone.

It was a beautiful island. From the airport reception to the final drop-off, the service was perfect and thoughtful. There were also many activities on the island. You could also go out to sea to see dolphins. It was a comfortable holiday.

Baros Maldives is nothing short of extraordinary. The resort offers an outstanding experience, with a perfect blend of dreamlike beaches and lush jungle vibes. The coral reef is a snorkeler’s paradise, full of vibrant marine life that makes every swim unforgettable. A special mention goes to Aziza, whose exceptional friendliness and service truly made our stay unforgettable. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality added a personal touch that elevated our experience. The food is phenomenal, offering a la carte options that exceed expectations in quality and presentation. Every meal felt like a culinary journey. Baros Maldives is a luxury destination that fulfills every wish for a dream getaway.

One of the oldest resort islands in the Maldives so beautiful vegetation and carefully integrated facilities. Warm welcome with sustained care and attention from competent staff for the whole holiday. Three options for evening dining with special evenings twice a week. Food and service were excellent. We go to relax now but have previously enjoyed snorkelling, sunset cruises and night fishing. There are more activities but in our late 70s early 80s we leave these for the younger guests now. There are beach villas and water villas with excellent daily maintenance and all guests are assigned a personal butler for making daily arrangements. We have stayed elsewhere in the Maldives but this island tops the list - it was our tenth visit in November and we are due to return next year.

Baros is a small beautiful island that anyone looking for a truly relaxing experience should visit. Baros’ hospitality is on another level, the service we received from Shinta exceeded our expectations. Anytime we had a question, she would come back to us in the next 10 min trying to accomodate any request we had. Thank you for making us feeling cuddled everyday!

Kind butler, beautiful sunset, clean water, good weather, perfect dining, interesting activities such as snorkeling, spa, and etc. I don’t know what to say but you should visit this place. The best part is that this place has the most delicious food.

Baros has exceeded my expectations. It's truly a beautiful island with the most amazing staff. We travelled here after our stay at Milaidhoo and the transfer/ contact re timing/arrivals between resorts were flawless! We did not have to worry about anything as it was all sorted between them. Water villas were beautiful with direct access to the reef, morning breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, snorkelling was very easy as the reef was very easily accessible from the beach. We saw plenty of sharks, trigger fishes, hermit crabs, moray eels, powder blue surgeon fishes, butterflyfish and many others. We really enjoyed eating at Sails Bar by the beach just after snorkelling. Ultimately the service was very attentive and personalised. Thanks to our villa host, Saeed, for making our trip beautiful and very memorable. Nothing was too much for Saeed and he went above and beyond for us. Also very thankful to the staff that kept our room clean and spotless twice a day. Looking forward for our next trip back.
