Very nice hotel with an excellent breakfast. We stayed 4 nights with a room in the new building and we are very satisfied. The only negative part was the lack of restaurants that where open in the evenings, we found a pizzeria and the hotel restaurant.

Location and view is nice, but for me the rating goes down to nothing because of the very cute and friendly dog that’s sitting alone more or less all the time in a cage in the parking lot. Yes there is food and water, yes it’s not minimal size (maybe 3x1.5 meter), but hard floor and even if the family owner comes and walk the dog it’s cruel. It’s not a rabbit, it’s humans best friend and they need a pack. The young girl in reception told me he only sits there when they have lunch and dinner guests, still he was there 24 hours after that, night as well. Anyway… besides that it’s a average hotel, hard beds, old furnitures, dark areas. But of course great view and pool area is nice, but you cannot go in the pool without a rubber swimming hat! Guard will tell you every time, so more or less no one went in even with 32 degrees and sunny. Very strange and I have never seen anything like that when traveling the world. Staff/reception had one plus and that’s the young man from the family, good service, the others I didn’t see a smile for 3 days. All in all, don’t get a dog if you gonna let them have a life like that. And if you do, maybe understand that it looks very bad.

This is a rural hotel with very nice views of the hills and vineyards. The rooms are very run down. They need new beds, linens and a fresh coat of paint. Thankfully there is a balcony so the doors can be left open for fresh air because it is very musty.

Cozy Hotel in the middle of the small town Barollo. Hotel has its own Restaurant which serves Traditional Menü. Rooms are clean, with small balcony and a view of the small town /vineyards. Pool is well maintained and has organized rules during pool time. Breakfast was also good wide variety to choose from and local produced as well. Located just 5mins fron the center of the small town. Just a minor con, it can get loud in the evening when guest comeback from dinner or so. The noise along the hallways can get in your room. If you you go to bed early might not be a good idea . Other than that we enjoyed our stay! Tip: book months before in advance, especially weekends during High season, rooms and price can be difficult and expensive.

Fantastic experience. The structure is not brand new but the rooms are huge, equipped with minibar, TV, balcony or direct access to the pool and comfortable bathrooms. The pool is beautiful, clean with sunbeds, tables and lifeguard. Breakfast of excellent quality, both sweet and savory. I found the tarts really good. Kind, smiling and professional staff. Priceless view and high-level restaurant. The proximity to the village is a plus. In our case it was a perfect stay (and there were 10 of us)..

Our stay at Barolo Hotel was absolutely exceptional. The panoramic view is simply breathtaking and added a magical touch to our experience. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel restaurant exceeded all expectations. The food was top notch and delicious. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We can't wait to return to experience this amazing cuisine once again.

I state that I am sorry to give such a judgment, but courtesy is also an integral part of the service. I booked the night between Saturday and Sunday, check in is scheduled for h.15, check out is at 10.30 and on the day of check out you cannot use the swimming pool unless you pay an extra 10 € each. In order to make the most of the swimming pool, I asked via email if having lunch on Saturday at noon, so by doing full board, the check in could be anticipated. Answer: yes, after lunch which is between 12.00 and 13.30. So after 13.30 we check in but the room is not ready and a bit 'curtly they tell us that the check in is at 15. So I show their email, and they reply "you were quick to eat". No comment. To be fair, half an hour the room is ready, but another half hour. The room, large, on the ground floor, was perhaps the only one without a balcony and there was no hanger, except for those inside the wardrobe, and the pool towels, ours not provided, I did not know where to spread them. The bathroom was also large but here too no hanger, on the other hand the toilet flushed and the fan did not work. We arrive at the pool and I ask the lifeguard for 3 sunbeds, he replies to look for them around. I counted about forty beds for 50 rooms. The lifeguard starts to close the first umbrellas around 5 pm, at 6.10 pm, I checked the time, he comes to say that he closes at 7 pm. But there is almost an hour! On Sunday morning there was a rush to grab the sunbeds, as all guests pay the extra for the swimming pool, of course! A swimming cap is required at the pool, I hadn't read it anywhere, they sell it at check-in. For lunch we ate à la carte, the half board dinner (but we did full board!) Provides a limited choice, we discover this at dinner, no one had told us, we would have made different choices, so we took the same twice dish. But they allowed my daughter to choose a different one. The food is good without excelling, I'm celiac and I found the tajarin gluten-free. Conclusion: 410 € for a day in a 3-star hotel in Barolo with the services offered seems to me definitely excessive. Too bad because the structure has the potential.
