The hotel is a bit old, but it is still clean. I stayed for the second time.

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff were very professional and attentive. Small hiccup with our evening meal, but the manager Greg, rectified this. Bar staff Tom and Hannah, both deserve a medal! They were both amazing Our room was stunning, a junior suite in the attic, it could not have been more perfect. All in all, a very lovely stay, which we are keen to repeat soon.

We stayed in March 2024 had a good experience then, but this visit last weekend 11th May 24 was very disappointing we found the room dirty with insects crawling around under the bed, we asked to change room which we did but found the same problem which i pointed out to the night receptionist, he came up with a 3rd room clean luckily at midnight, now very tired we slept well and spoke to reception at check out who offered us a complimentary Breakfast which was nice but doesn't make you want to return again if the rooms are presented to you so dirty please see photos i did write to the hotel manager on 13th May but as yet have received NO reply
