It’s not a hotel, it’s a 6 room bed and breakfast arrangements. The location is in the middle of Barletta old city, which means that the load level is high. Yes, my room had a balcony, but with 2 AC, no room for me. The description on ********** states sound isolated rooms, but that is not the case. Furthermore, the full fridge is a minimal one. The shower in my room is the smallest I’ll ever set my steps into. But the most confusing was the communication upfront and during check in. The reception is open when it’s open…

Hotel is not a hotel but a room for the night. You get a token to present to one of two cafe for a coffee and pastry in the morning which is the free breakfast. The reception is always closed, even at the announced opening times which is inconvenient. It’s rather basic.
However it in a great location with everything you need close by but you are basically fending for yourself. I wouldn’t let it put you off if you are confident in staying in a room in a building that has no other facilities.

Clean, basic, central. This little place has everything you need for your stay in Barletta. Definitely worth checking it out. Its basic accommodation and breakfast is served in the local cafes. Lovely staff

What can I say, my boyfriend and I booked one night and we were amazed: we had booked a standard room for 45 euros but we were offered a better one in an apartment... what can I say, a unique home, it's wonderful. Comfortable, welcoming and above all modern... simply wonderful and one of a kind. Top bathroom also with ladders to go up to the mezzanine floor where the beds are located. We were amazed and still think it was the best choice to have booked at this B&B. We will be back again👍

To avoid: Ettore Fieramosca room uncomfortable bed bathroom with broken drain noisy fridge but the most absurd thing the stairs to access the room every time felt like climbing (in fact there was a rope) with a suitcase. We booked this hotel for cousins (15 people). The rooms are a little scattered, but not very far from each other. Very friendly boss, very welcoming, clean room, one downside about the shower being a bit small. Hotel very well located in the historic center which is magnificent. The only criticism I would make was that we had a problem with the room at midnight and it was impossible to contact anyone. It's the owner of the bar on the cathedral square where we have breakfast in the morning who saves the day. Also no if I had to return to Barletta, I would return to this Campanella Family hotel.

I'm sorry to write negative reviews. Especially when you meet courteous and helpful staff at the reception. On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October we stayed in a room located in an alley in Via San Giorgio. The cost is €54.00 per day. The bad smell in the bathroom (without any window) was impressive and even with the door closed it invaded the bedroom. We asked to change rooms for the next day. They would have moved us to a room near the Duomo. But our (local) father-in-law advised us against it because the nightlife on a holiday wouldn't let us sleep. Another negativity is breakfast in a bar in via Cavour. Not even a hot chocolate is included! And, in cauda venenum, the very steep and dangerous staircase. The father-in-law fell and hurt his back badly.
