Booked for a business trip as we were exhibiting at the Excel in London. We went for a Premier Inn as pretty standard and you know what to expect - not here! The initial greet from front of house was fine but then went downhill from there. First night we waited so long for mains we nearly gave up and went to bed hungry, we complained and were told to pre order our meal for night two, we did this and on arrival sat down and they bought all of the order out at once (starters and mains) - two of the starters were not what we ordered but were informed "that is all we have" - will not be using this facility again which is a shame because rooms are generally clean and comfortable but badly let down by the restaurant service

Staff need better training in customer service. They look angry all the time and don’t have answers to basic questions. They can easily make customers walk out especially when there are other hotels in the area. The price was also too high for the location and a basic hotel brand.

I wrote a review but it got erased . Bottom line not worth the price at all. Nice staff but everything else not worth it.

The rooms were very neat and clean. The bathroom was very tidy. The receptionist's, especially Farsana was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us good tips about sight seeing places. The hotel ambience was amazing. Will love to stay there again.

They need to employ an extra member of staff in the kitchen and the floor as the staff are seriously rushed off their feet... we waited 2 hours for dinner, mine was a prawn cocktail out the fridge with dry bread, my colleagues chicken wings came out cold, parking machine didn't work, list was endless, they need extra staff here, staff were pleasant, felt sorry for them...

A very well connected hotel road-wise on East side of London. Also quick to walk into Barking centre for food and drinks. Hotel rooms are nice and quiet. Staff helpful and parking easy. A small bar between the hotel and restaurant which stays open late for a drink and to relax.

The room was spacious, we did appreciate that, even if the towels were not for 2 people, we were expecting towels for 2 people, as we booked the double room for us as a couple. but the staff was so distracted and even looked bothered if we wanted their help. For instance, the first night we stayed at the hotel, we politely asked for a bucket with ice and a male member of the staff with some dreads laughed at me and asked me twice, laughing: “A BUCKET WITH ICE?!?”, I politely asked that’s what I need even if I was feeling that he was having fun of me, as a guest, replying after: “The best I can do is a glass” and I was like: “ok, I appreciate” and he continued: “But why a bucket?”, the customer service is a 1/10. Disappointing. we’ve been treated ****** and unfair. Also, when we arrived at the hotel, was a bit early and another female member of FH staff wanted to charge us £20 more for checking in with 20 minutes before 3:00pm and we decided that we can totally wait 20 more minutes. Only one female receptionist was very helpful and polite, because we had to ask for extra towels and she was so happy to help. Really appreciate. But, the rest of the staff, awful. And the same male, at the check out, which was very early in the morning, looked bothered by the fact we were trying to thank him and to say “goodbye” and I handled him the key with the key tag where the room number was written and he didn’t even bother to look in there, but to call us when we were almost outside to ask us which room we stayed in.
