Our 4/5 bedroom, south-facing Tuscan farmhouse offers breathtaking views of the Apuan Alps and the hilltop town of Sommocolonia. With no immediate neighbours, Montate is accessed via a 400m private road, ensuring complete privacy and tranquillity. It’s perfect for those looking to get away from it all and relax with family and friends. It’s not the best option for those looking to be at the centre of the action, although day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and the beach are all manageable from the house. Barga offers several excellent restaurant/bar options in addition to supermarket and other amenities and a local taxi service is available for those who would prefer not to drive.
