The Six Bells

The Six Bells is located on the edge of a very well-kept little village in a lovely landscape. The staff is very friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The food is very good and reasonably priced, and the breakfast is individual and delicious.

For my short stay all was well. The menu was a little limited for my chosen diet. Great value for money with an included breakfast. Clean and tidy. ALL staff seemed happy and I was made very welcome. Parking is good too. A nice quiet country location with a lovely view from my window. Facilities very good and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend The Six Bell if asked.

No food available Hotel was ok, room was up to a reasonable standard but was very dusty on furniture. Biggest problem was the restaurant is closed on a Monday and a Tuesday, this wasn't pointed out at time of booking. This resulted in a 5 mile drive to the nearest pub for food which was not ideal.

Couldn’t book in until 5pm which I think is quite late and had to be out by 10am. Room was far too hot even with the window open. No instructions in the room whatsoever regarding meals or checkout. Apparently breakfast had to be pre-ordered the day before at the bar so on the first morning when we went down for breakfast we waited 15 mins along with another guest for someone to come and were lead into the breakfast room via the kitchen. Service was slow. We left our breakfast details on the bar for the 2nd day but when we got there everywhere was locked up. We tried the mobile number on the door but know-body answered Really unorganised. The breakfast forms should have been in our room and there should have been a box for guests to put them into. Then when we came to leave there were no instructions of what to do with the room keys and there wasn’t anyone there to ask. Once again a box to deposit keys into is required. Such a shame -this hotel was a 5min drive from our sons home but we won’t be returning.

6 Bells The owner was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for me. Room was comfortable and more than enough size for my needs. Got a bit confused with the TV as I couldn't get life tv but many apps were there to stream programs and films. Cooked breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was incredible. I was made to feel very welcome. Id recommend staying there!
