Hotel Nettuno

Stayed at Hotel Nettuno for a week late September. What a wonderful experience to find a hotel with such lovely staff and good service in all areas of hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the lake. The hotel is well situated within 10/15 minute stroll along Lakeside and even less if going by road from front entrance of hotel in to town. There is a lovely pool area with plenty of beds and chairs. The outside terrace is used to serve breakfast and lunch. We were half board, breakfast is buffet style with hot and cold options, dinner is 4 Courses with 1st course being salad table (self service) and the remaining 3 courses table service. There were 3 choices for each of the 3 Courses which were not repeated during the 7 nights we were there. Entertainment was provided on one evening ( guitarist/ singer) who was very good. Absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. We will certainly be back. Thank you to all of the staff for making it a memorable stay.

Wonderful stay at the Nettuno. Spotlessly clean, bright and airy. Very quiet rooms. Super friendly staff. Perfect location. Very good food, just can't find any faults. This hotel sits immediately on the lakeside and is just a short walk to the centre of Bardolino.

First time at this hotel and we all loved it. Staff were Amazing except for head waiter who could do with learning people skills, but the rest of the staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay fantastic. Hotel was spotless and the rooms very modern and fitted to a high standard. We payed extra for a balcony with lake view. Fantastic location on a quiet part of the lake front but just 5min walk from the main town and buzz. Bus stop was just 5min walk too so perfect location. The extras just made our holiday like free fruit at the pool and pool towels and bag in the rooms,we were full board but only had breakfast every morning which was excellent witt beautiful views of the lake so we can’t comment on the meals. Would 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back but just avoid the head waiter if you go lol.

Just returned from spending a fabulous week at Hotel Nettuno in Bardolino. From beginning to end everything was outstanding, the location (literally on Lake Garda), the sumptuous and varied food and wine , the polite and helpful staff. A five minute walk takes you into the centre of Bardolino - so pretty with its many narrow bustling streets and restaurants We will return- Grazie Mille

A wonderfully run 4* hotel situated right on the front of Lake Garda and short walk away from the main town of Bardolino. The hotel and rooms are very clean and I can strongly recommend its own restaurant. The food is varied, beautifully presented with delicious flavours. The staff are fantastic and make you feel very welcome even going out of their way to accommodate your requirements. A special mention to Chiara, Elke and Guilia on reception. Excellent customer service! Thank you and hopefully we’ll see you again.

Stayed here for a week at the end of May. Outstanding hotel. Right on the shore of Lake Garda, a short stroll into Bardolino town centre (5 mins) and you have lots of choice for restaurant's and some lovely little shops selling all kinds of stuff. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Elke and Giulia on reception, where nothing was too much trouble. Kamel the maitre de, who looked after my wife who is coeliac every evening with an excellent selection of gluten free bread, and also ensured that any meal my wife chose from the menu was adjusted to suit. The staff in the restaurant, Kabir, Lazara were very efficient, but a big thank you to Stefano who was absolutely fantastic. The food served up to us by chef on an evening (unfortunately did not get the man's name) was some of the finest food we have ever had in a hotel. After you have had dinner why not retire to the bar and get totally spoilt by Matteo and Lorenzo who will see to whatever liquids you require and to a very high standard (special shout out to Matteo ). The hotel is lovely, rooms are a nice size, and have a free safe, coffee and tea with kettle, TV, hairdryer and are cleaned to a very good standard. Free pool towels and a lovely pool area with plenty of beds. The walk into Garda takes about 30 mins at a leisurely pace. Take a boat tour of the lake it's beautiful. Trip to Venice is, in my opinion, worth it. You will see all you want to and more. There is a cycle/walking path around most of the lakeside which is flat and wide. Making it easy to use on foot or bike/Escooter. All in all, if you are looking at visiting Lake Garda I can't recommend this hotel highly enough as a base for exploring, or, as somewhere to just sit back, relax, sunbathe and enjoy everything that this hotel has to offer. I really don't think you will find a better one anywhere on the lake. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Nettuno for making our first visit to Lake Garda such a memorable one. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
