The cleanliness wasn't up to a good expectation, hairs all over the bed and the room didn't get cleaned/tided throughout our stay. Also the security was worrying, the main front door (that led to the main road) didn't lock and was open all the time which meant anyone could walk in. The PIN code which lead to room one on 7th floor had rubbed off numbers which quite frankly just gave away the pin to access this area which then made us feel uncomfortable leaving our personal belongs in the room as the code was very easy to guess it and just walk in!! All though each door had its own key I did overall I feel generally un safe while staying here and wouldn't feel comfortable enough saying again. However staff were fantastic and very helpful as it was our first trip to Barcelona which led to them having a lot of useful tips to give us.

The room was very small as we were expecting but it was very comfortable and the aircon was great. There was 3 bathrooms to share with the floor, 2 of them having showers. The bathrooms were always fully stocked and you rarely had to wait. The staff were always friendly. The location was good with a few bus stops nearby however the metro was a bit further. The Sagrada Familia and Pg de Gracia were both walkable. The only annoying thing was the 4 floor climb to get to the hostel, as it says it’s on the 3rd floor but it’s really the 4th. We didn’t try using the lift although it was available. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The kitchen has everything you need and ,contrary to what you see on some reviews, it was always clean! The room was big enough but the mattress was a bit unconfortable. Also, the painting from the walls were peeling off and that gave us a bad impression at the begining. The location is perfect since you can move to everywhere by bus, metro or even walking a couple of minutes and you have a lot of supermarkets and restaurants close to it.

The staff has been helpful but I wouldn't return in this hostel. The general level of cleaning and maintenance is very low: the kitchen and its utensils are so dirty and broken that they cannot be used; the bathrooms are gross and even the bed sheets were stained... Furthermore I had a room with a window that gave onto a very dirty and dusty patio from which a terrible smell of fried fish came inside at all times. It was impossible to keep the window open.

The hotel has a relatively good location, which is convenient for exploring Barcelona. However, there are some serious flaws that really spoiled my stay. The rooms are extremely small and offer little space to move around or store luggage. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, which led to bad nights and back pain. The shared bathroom was unfortunately not clean, which also negatively affected the overall impression. What was particularly disappointing was that the rooms did not look at all like the pictures on the internet. The photos seem to be heavily embellished and give a false impression of the size and comfort of the rooms. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations. The combination of the tiny rooms, the uncomfortable beds and the unclean shared bathroom makes it difficult to recommend this hotel, despite the good location. This urgently needs to be improved to ensure guests have a pleasant stay.

It gets points because it is in an excellent location and because I found the bed quite comfortable, but it loses many more for cleanliness. As soon as you enter the room you notice it immediately, dust and hair practically everywhere. Not to mention the shower, very very low water pressure. I honestly wouldn't go back

Family atmosphere, very attentive and friendly staff, very affordable price, I recommend it, very good service. The perfect location, it is in the heart of Barcelona. Close to metro, taxi, bus stations. Very good cleaning by the staff. They have a game room to hang out.
