Great location- near all transportation.. Fast internet Exceptionally helpful desk clerk- Valentina Very spacious room Nice size kitchen Private bath Room Cleaned daily Washers to use Not any noisier than other hotels I have stayed at. Some reviews had me worried about noise but it was just typical for us. No different because of at a university… Beds were comfy It exceeded our expectations!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Walking into the hotel room on first glance we knew we had been scammed by the false photos. You couldn’t have gotten anymore catfished, the only good thing was it’s near the clubs. Absolute worst hotel I’ve ever been. No air conditioning, dirty floors and bathroom. Stained curtains. Noisy atmosphere. Rude people, breakfast was little option. Pictures look nothing like it. Honest scam. I’ve been to Barcelona before and loved it so I decided to come but I’d of rather stayed home. The area stinks too walking near the area I saw human faeces smeared all over the street. To think people book this place for the price it is, is worrying. I couldn’t help but feel bad for anyone who was to stay there. I hope anyone reading this cancels their booking. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed and I’ve stayed in some hell of places. The photos will show it to you anyway. Good luck.

My plan was to walk everyday, taking the bus & metro and seeing all points of the city. Indeed the Residencia has a perfect location, with easy access to all things. I was very grateful to the staff, who was kind and helpful even though I speak no Spanish at all. As the apartment itself, how clean and orderly it was, and I appreciated how all the appliances and plumbing worked just fine ( I cooked a lot of meals and did the dishes each night)! On the third floor where I was, the building itself seemed very quiet -- All the usual noises from outside was not disturbing at all, and in fact were comforting. I was traveling solo, as an advance trip for bringing my wife next time: She really likes things to be clean & functional, so I trust that management will continue to maintain their excellent standards for the Residencia : I can't wait to return for a visit and show my wife all I learned from exploring Barcelona with this lovely place as my "Home Base". PS: In the seven nights and six full days I was here, I walked over 100km, wow. Saw a lot, and always happy to return to the Residencia !! Thank you :)

this is a student housing that tents rooms for travelers. very basic appearance. nice courtyard that can be noisy when groups celebrating which is normal in barcelona. breakfast has a strict limitation. two drinks, croissant or sandwich. wifi excellent.

The bed was very uncomfortable and I could not sleep either night of my stay. The floors were dirty when I arrived. The location is very close to the beach but I would not stay here again unfortunately.
