Paying a premium price for a basic room with flimsy sheets that don’t fit the bed and BEDBUGS is the worst rip-off! Everything about this place is BUDGET - lifts don’t work all the time so be prepared to carry your luggage up four flights of stairs, tv-remote is extra, walls are paper thin, staff ‘clean’ but the floors are filthy and beds are riddled with bugs that keep you up at night. Excuses given by the desk staff is patrons ‘steal’ - tells you a lot! Worst place I’ve stayed in!

Friendly staff. Clean room. Shower all good etc etc. Requested a room with a partial street view but no joy (though my friend did get a street view but he didn’t request it!). Great location just off La Rambla. Didn’t notice any noise even the the busy street was only yards away. Room was very small. Granted it was a budget option for Barcelona (but still far from cheap), I was surprised how small the room was. Just about ok for 1 person. Possibly the smallest hotel room i’ve ever stayed in.

This place is a rough jewel in what I consider the central tourist area of La Rambla area, (upper and lower La Rambla). Nice to go for a walk early in the morning and late evening. The hostel is sufficient with what one needs for a four (4) day stay in the city. Clean utilities and friendly staff. Air Condition very nice, no bedbugs and friendly english speaking staff.

Good value for money ! In the city centre near everything worth visiting in the area ! Pleasant employees ! We only had an unexpected issue with cockroaches that’s why the tree stars ! Other than that it was a lovely accommodation suggested for those who spend little time in the room

Hotel very well located, staff nothing to say, but horrible bedding!!! mattress placed on a wooden board exploded mattress 120 cm bed. too bad, the hotel would be quite well maintained.... it is not very well soundproofed no more .......

We stayed two nights in the worst hostel in Barcelona. The first night it was horribly hot in the room, which says it has air conditioning, but at reception they told us that it was central and that it was off and that they couldn't turn it on. Because all the hotels were full, we decided to risk dying from the heat. But during the second day, we started getting bites all over our bodies. When we arrived the second night we saw that the room was full of BEDBUGS. It was 1 in the morning, we went down to reception and the receptionist told us that he could not relocate us, only refund us the money for that night, even though due to the first night we were already covered in bites. There were no accommodations available for us to leave, which left us with two options: sleep with the bedbugs or stay on the street. Again the man did not give us any solution. Finally we had to buy a plane ticket at 4 in the morning, to travel at 6.30am. If you want to live this experience, I recommend this hostel. If not, it is better that you look for a place that maintains the minimum hygiene required by law.

Pension in the center, clean and renovated rooms, air conditioning, friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice working shower, breakfast with "real" coffee and not the classic dispensers. There is no safe in the single rooms and in my room the minibar barely worked. For the rest I was fine, basic and clean

Smell of frying in the room coming out of the ventilation. We were forced to wash clothes, bags and suitcases at the end of the stay to remove this very strong smell. No commercial gesture from the hotel for the inconvenience... RUN AWAY!!!!!
