Dated, tired, dirty and too many issues Travelling as a family of 4 with 2 grandparents in addition (60 years old). We arrived exhausted having been told we couldn’t check in at lunchtime. At 6pm the auto check in machine told us our reservation wasn’t valid- Que panic for by now exhausted travellers. After some help we finally got it sorted. Pros Quiet and relatively safe outside Close to central parts Air Con worked fine Coffee machine and safe were useful. Cons Room was 4 flights of tight old stairs up- challenging even if you’re fit. Not suitable for older travellers. Lift was ancient and as expected broke several times during our trip. Fixes were slow and we had to actively request help. Room was filthy thick dust and dirt on floor, shelves not cleaned in some time (see pic after 3rd wipe…! Dirty towels (pics shown after unrolling) No drawers or surfaces or anywhere really to store things, shelves too high to access- I’m 6ft3? Giant wardrobes house 6 hangers. Bunk bed dangerous for kids- no bar across top or bottom, kids kept kitting their heads on the wooden shelf part. Shower mouldy and drain blocked. Balcony aged and not safe for children/ or I’d wager adults. Roof terrace was in very poor state of repair- no working lights either. I honestly don’t know whose standards believes this level of cleaning is ok in a room but I wouldn't stay again if they paid us. Awful.

This was our third visit to Aspasios apartments in Barcelona. Whilst the apartment was convenient and the facilities were as described, and all worked, we were very disappointed that the only natural light came from 2 narrow light wells. This was made worse, as the manager mentioned when I told them I was disappointed that we were on the first floor. Whilst I understand these are old buildings and Aspasios has to make the most of them, this booking was made 5 months ahead and we were never informed that the light and airy rooms shown in the videos and on-line are sometimes not possible. We had to have the lights in at all times. Very reluctant to use them again.

Found this nice apartment on ***********. We were just spending a couple of nights in Barcelona as part of a bigger Europe trip. Very spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms, a small kitchenette, living and dining space, washing machine and 2 bathrooms! The beds were comfortable. The one bedroom had 2 bunk beds. The bathrooms were very nice. It was a little weird that you had to step up into the shower. I understand why they had to do that. However, it could be a little dangerous for some people, so just be aware of that. We didn't cook, but we did use the washing machine. It's nice to have that available on a trip. We simply hung the clothes outside on the line and they were dry when we came back later that day. We did not have a car. Walked everywhere. The hotel is close to many restaurants, bodegas, metro line, etc. Good central location just a couple of blocks off the main street. The front door is keypad controlled, so everyone felt really safe. Our room faced the courtyard, so noise was no problem. The stairs up to the rooms are a little narrow. There is a very small elevator that fits a couple of people...but, at least it has one if needed. Never met the people in charge. Everything was done over the internet/phone and you get your room keys (keycard) at the automated kiosk in the lobby. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Beautiful apartment, very close to the metro station and a very cheap supermarket. The beds are very comfortable, they have everything you need for the shower and cooking utensils. We will definitely be back.

Very well located between Sagrada, Placa Catalunya, Bario Gotico it is very well equipped, we had the top floor. Tastefully decorated, you will enjoy the rear terrace to eat and have tapas and sangria :) you will find all the household appliances for a comfortable stay (Nespresso machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). 1 small downside, the soundproofing of the master bedroom is average due to the nearby and noisy elevator motor. For the rest, customer support is top notch, thanks to Juan and the team for their availability and good advice.

Excellent séjour d’une semaine au 4.1. Accueil informatique très pratique. Nous avions eu toutes les informations par mail. Très bien situé. L’appartement est très bien équipé, tout est fait pour que ce soit agréable. Vraiment très propre. Literie de qualité. Juste le robinet de salle de bain parentale qui mériterait un bouchon aérateur mais c’est un détail.
