Staff doesn’t speak English so if you don’t speak Spanish, you can use Google translate in your phone to communicate with them. There are two shared bathrooms. They have a pantry (free to use anytime but limited space) with free cold drinking water from water dispenser, hot water in an electric kettle, instant coffee and tea. Plates and mugs can be used too. They will knock on your door if you are making noises after midnight. Tax to be collected at the property can be paid using card. They are located in 1st floor and there is also small lift just for the luggages. Reception is 24/7 so we were able to check out early and leave our luggages which were stored in a closed room near the reception. Location is walking distance near Poble Sec metro station. The street of the hotel is being reconstructed so you can only walk on the sidewalks. Our room was just right outside the shared bathroom so it was really accessible. Felt safe as the receptionist is just there 24/7. Need to press Elkano doorbell to enter the building. Room was spacious for us 3 compared to the other Triple Room we booked during our Europe trip. This was the cheapest stay available during our dates and have mixed reviews. This was a good deal.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. It is a bit old and cramped, but that’s reasonable for the price. The location is a bit outside the city centre, but there is a 5 mins walk metro station near, which is good. Overall, it was a very good stay!

Location, room and hostal opportunities was very good but unfortunately the voice insulation was terrible. All the other peoples speaking and movement are like in your room so u can sleep well.

Heater doesn’t work. There’s no water at all for one night. Wi-Fi connection is very unstable and poor. Staff doesn’t understand English.

It was close to the station and convenient. It was nice that there was a microwave and a refrigerator. Unfortunately the walls were too thin and you could hear everything from other rooms.

Although the hostal is well located, the facilities leave a lot to be desired. The hostal is located on the first floor of an old building, where the original apartments have been adapted and each room transformed into rooms. This way there is no soundproofing, the building's stairs as well as the elevator are in the corridor leading to the rooms and in the rooms you can even hear the building's entrance door. The reception is literally in the middle of the rooms. The place has a fridge and a common microwave, which we only discovered later because no one informed us. As a positive point, we highlight the room's private bathroom, especially the shower.

I must say it was a terrible experience. The photos provided were totally different from the reality and the price of the hotel was unreasonably high and out of proportion to its quality. The front desk staff did not understand English and had a bad attitude. The hotel had no heating system and the quilt was too thin. The WiFi signal was very poor. The only good thing was that there was a subway station nearby. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed.

The room is almost completely closed, the toilet has a septic tank smell, I have been using perfume to cover it up, but the perfume smells so good that it stinks. I want to vomit, and the bed is itchy.

A place far from the center but well connected by buses and metro, so perfect to be in a quiet place during your stay in Barcelona. The staff was very friendly to us!

Small room, but well complete with sink and air conditioning. Sheet + blanket just in case.. large window, coffee offered at any time of the day.. I wouldn't talk about the price, saying that a price is interesting would push the owner to increase it. Obviously the showers are shared, but it is announced.

The room is small, for one family. I can’t say it’s cozy, but you can’t rent anything in Barcelona for that price. Therefore, for this price it’s a very good option. Clean, cleaned every morning, towels changed. In the hallway there is a cooler, refrigerator, tea, coffee, kettle. We were a little late leaving, but no one said anything. The staff is nice. The room is stuffy, despite the air conditioning. The beds are comfortable. Shower gels and shampoo in the bathroom.

There were some tourist spots within walking distance and others that could be reached by subway or taxi, so it wasn't that inconvenient. There were several supermarkets nearby, but the laundromat was a bit far away.

Very good experience, the only thing you should check is the door locks, they are difficult to open.
