The Monument Hotel in Barcelona is an exceptional accommodation that seamlessly blends historic architecture with modern amenities. This was our second stay at this beautiful property, and I was once again blown away by the level of hospitality and attention to detail.
The hotel's location is perfect, allowing you to easily walk to all the top attractions, restaurants, and wine bars in the city. The concierge, Xavi, is a true gem. He listened intently to our personal preferences and provided fantastic recommendations, including a wonderful nail salon when I was in need of a manicure. Xavi's restaurant and wine bar suggestions were spot on - we enjoyed some of the best local cuisine and wine during our stay, and have saved those recommendations for future visits. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful historic facade complemented by modern, well-appointed guest rooms and common areas. The amenities are top-notch, ensuring a safe, comfortable and convenient stay. From the luxurious bedding to the high-end toiletries, every aspect of the guest experience is carefully considered.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether it's your first or fifth time in the city. We look forward to returning again soon.

Very expensive hotel but it is so worth it. Location could not be better; right smack in the main shopping area where the luxury brands are. I love the breakfast! The spread was relatively large with an extensive menu cooked-to-order.

We spent a day in Barcelona and booked the Monument Hotel, which is a good hotel in a good location. We arrived late at night after a day of fun. The front desk and waiters were very considerate and proactive. The room was just right, the hot water for bathing was sufficient and stable, and the sunny breakfast on the rooftop was very good. Pay attention to the several egg dishes on the menu, which were delicious, and the ham and salmon were also good. We went to the beach for a morning run in the morning, passing the Gothic Cathedral and the big market, which was very convenient.

Traveling with a baby, I laid a folding bed. The service and breakfast were pretty good. Breakfast was semi-self-service. The location was very good. It was just across from Casa Mila and within walking distance to Casa Batlló. The sanitation and room size were good in Europe. The only drawback was that the bed was a bit soft.
