The MH Hotel on Carrer d'Valencia in Barcelona is clean and secure and one block from Sagrada Familia. The area is buzzing with activity and has numerous bakeries, bars, tapas restaurants, various ethnic restaurants and is very close to the Sagrada Familia metro stop. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when a piece of equipment I had plugged in shorted out the whole apartment. Within 15 minutes, a handyman had the electricity back on. I was on the top floor and the outdoor terrace for that room is very large. There is a washer but no dryer, however, Le Laundry Bar is close by and you can go dry your clothes there while drinking, eating, and/or working on your laptop. On thing tho, the shower is quite small...it was ok for me but for a large man it could be challenging. Maybe showers in other apartments are not as small. All in all though, I was very impressed with the hotel apartment and for the price I don't think hotel and location can be beat!
