We had an amazing stay at the NH hotel during our city break in Barcelona. All the provided services are perfect qualities. Whatever you wish to print your boarding passes at the concierge desk or order the room service the staff is more than happy to assist you. The room was ready for us much earlier than the check in time. The hotel is perfectly located, right at the La Rambla Street and the skybar at the roof offers amazing landscape of the city with DJ taking care of the music. We highly recommend the hotel for everyone who is looking for an accommodation in Barcelona. At the end we would like to award Laura and Mike from the front desk and a bellboy Kevin who were giving us an extraordinary assist since we only crossed the door of the hotel.

It was a very disappointing experience. The hotel service is not even one star and it feels that’s it is not respecting customers at all. Reply was super slow, manager don’t care about the customer even there is a feedback and complain. Most surprising is that there are bugs in the hotel room. Concierge forgot our room number when we dropped things to deliver to our room. 這間酒店的服務一星也不值，態度非常不遵重客人，房間有小昆蟲。經理完全高傲到不理客人的要求。 This was the worst experience I had in a five star hotel ever. 本人住過不少5星酒店，但這真是非常不能接受

4nights stay in the hotel rated itself as 5-star where we find that is was overrated. The hotel itself is definitely on the super great location just few minute walk from famous attraction point- Casa Batlló. Very convenient for shopper and easy access to other spot of attractions. The only one thing un-satisfactory on our stay is the centralized Air-conditioning system. We went on the cold season and the AC system was set on providing hot air in room only. Make complain to front desk and manage to off the hot air system but the best can do is switch to ventilation mood as there is no cold air option. Even so, our room was still hot and ended up we was slept with windows open so at least it was cooling at night but here come the problem of mosquitos enter to our room. Apart from point above, our stay are still consider good and hopefully the management could look into the issue.

My wife and I went for a very short trip to Barcelona and chose this hotel at random . What a great choice and a good bit of luck! Firstly it's location was perfect for us - right on Las Ramblas. Very central. We took the Aerobus from the airport which stopped at Plaça de Catalunya a short distance away from Las Ramblas and obviously our hotel We were welcomed by friendly staff and given a welcome drink. Our room was comfortable and clean and had free drinks in the mini bar; free coffee nespresso machine, a big bed and lots of pillows! There was a very good breakfast choice and you were made to feel like royalty by Max the breakfast waiter - who was always cheerful. The desk staff were very helpful with tips about local food, travelling , booking tickets... Fully a five star service. We will definitely go again to Barcelona and hopefully be able to stay again at this lovely diamond of a hotel.

Location is great in Gothic Quarter, and staff are very nice. But the rooms are very very small! And peculiarly designed. Even small for one person. Toilet separate area of room from sink basin and shower. No where to sit except on bed. Very clean, good TV but uncomfortable room. Breakfast excellent, restaurant very good for dinner, rooftop bar small but attractive with good tapas. Hotel arranges transport as most taxis couldn’t find the hotel on a very narrow windy street!

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel: I stayed here 17 years ago in my first visit to Barcelona although I could not remember much of my experience then. I decided to stay at the Hotel Royal Ramblas in my second visit to Barcelona for 5 nights in September 2022 because of its good location. I must say its location on La Rambla is excellent and exceptional. It is close to many popular tourist attractions, it's just a few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya metro station, and bus stops at Plaza Catalunya for the hop on hop off buses. Port Veil and the beach are within walking distance. The room we got on the Planta Royal (just one floor above the breakfast restaurant) was comfortable and clean. Although the room is facing La rambla it is extremely quiet during the night. The wifi was fast, the shower was great and the aircon was so quiet and effective. The breakfast was excelent throughout our stay and the staff at the reception were very helpful and freindly. I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Barcelona. One complaint I would like to make is that for a four star hotel, there isn't any tissue paper in the room. I have to buy one box of tissue papers from Carrefour nearby. But in my opinion Hotel Royal Ramblas is an excellent hotel and I would stay there agin in my next visit.

Calling it a swimming pool is a lie, feel ripped off. When you select a hotel with a swimming pool, the prices went up by £300-400 for our stay, so a hefty increase, but they didn't have one. It was 1 foot deep, that's not a pool, if you can't swim in it then it's a glorified puddle. Breakfast was vile, only edible part was the croissants, which seems pricey for £9 per day. Bed was relatively cosy, but on wheels and made so much noise any time either of us moved in the slightest. There was a buzzing sound that went off from the fan every 5 seconds, not too bad during the day, but when you're trying to sleep then it was a nightmare. The staff were friendly at reception, the bright spark that kept us from going elsewhere as we were really tempted. Wouldn't book again.

When first booking our trip to Barcelona, it was a little overwhelming the amount of properties one could choose from. After a bit of review and consideration we decided on the Hotel Olivia Balmes. We were most interested in finding a hotel that was centrally located, emphasized comfort and cleanliness, & had in room central air conditioning (given our late summer travel). The hotel hit top marks in all. We also used the pool and ate breakfast which were both excellent. I would not hesitate to book a stay here. The front desk staff were also very kind and available 24 hours a day.

Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

My partner booked this hotel for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. Afte4 looking at many places to stay, we decided on the Gravina, mainly due to location. And we weren't dissapointed. It is located so close to everything. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was a good size and bathroom had modern facilities with a good shower. The beds were extremely comfortable too!. Breakfast had a good selection and again very friendly staff. I was even brought chocolate cake on my birthday. Would definitely recommend and to stay again. Thank you.

John at reception was lovely and checked us in, recommending places in the area to eat. The location is truly fantastic, with a metro station only a minutes walk away as well as so many restaurants and shops including Starbucks, Hard Rock Cafe, Zara etc. The rooftop pool and bar was incredible with food and drinks available and lovely staff. The room was absolutely gorgeous and we even had a small balcony which we enjoyed looking out of onto the streets of Barcelona below. Overall if you're looking for a perfect place to stay in Barcelona hotel midmost is the place!

I stayed for 5 nights in this hotel in October 2021 and I liked it very much. There is a 24h reception which is impressive for a 3 star budget hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the bathroom amenities were very good. There is AC in the rooms as well. The location is FANTASTIC. We walked everywhere and never had a problem with transportation ”not that we needed it” or finding restaurants nearby. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommend!

The hotel is in an excellent location. There are subways and buses downstairs. It is very close to Plaza Catalunya. It is a few minutes walk to Boqueria Market and Wanderers Street. We walked for ten minutes to La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. There are many shops and restaurants downstairs, which is very convenient. It’s also convenient to take a taxi wherever you go. The hotel breakfast is okay and rich. The room is not very big, but it is comfortable and the hygiene is relatively good.

We stayed 9 nights at the hotel and enjoyed the staff, location and breakfast. Everyone was helpful and hard working. Room was spacious enough, shower had good flow and lots of hot water, a/c was very effective, bed was firm but comfortable, housekeeping was attentive, and a missing light was repaired within hours of being reported. We are planning to stay again on our next trip to Barcelona.

This hotel is certainly not as advertised, how it is rated 3stars beggars belief. The photos advertising it are certainly not what we experienced. The breakfast was OK but very basic, nothing like advertised, there are no bar/ coffee bar facilities. Laminate flooring is covered in tape in the foyer the mat at the front entrance was raised at the edge being a trip hazard to my relative who is disabled and for all patrons of the hotel. The bedroom I was in had laminate flooring that was raised and I tripped on it, I reported it to reception and nothing was done to try to make it safe in the short term. The patio doors did not have locks on them and they did not close properly. As for the decor and furnishings they certainly need updated. Only saving grace for this place was the clean bedding.

Good value for money The room was bigger than I expected, very clean, the maid came in every day and I had no complaints! I read some comments that there is noise from the road. Do not worry about this, just ask for a quiet room and they will put you in the back of the hotel, where there is no noise. I was at 803 and it was very quiet! I did not have breakfast because it was so expensive! The hotel is very central, next to the most central Metro station. Right next door there is an amazing steakhouse that you should definitely eat there. The only negative is that the room could have a kettle and two glasses.

The environment is the feel of an old European hotel. The toilet space is particularly large, the hygiene is good, the pillows are a bit dirty, and the overall is OK, but the door of the bathtub fell several times, almost smashing my feet. Irregularities, and the buttons are often sprayed with water, the sound insulation is very poor, the sound outside the door and the next room may be clear, it may be too long, but the sunlight scattered into the room is good, and the service attitude is very kind Very nice.
