"I had a wonderful 3-night stay at AC Marriott Penang. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linens and those long pillows I absolutely love! The room was spotless and well-kept throughout my stay.
What truly stood out was the warm hospitality from the front desk team — they were welcoming from the moment I checked in, even recommending a nearby massage spa along with their preferred masseurs. I was genuinely impressed that despite only a brief encounter at check-in, they remembered my name every time I passed by.
Small gestures like that made the whole experience feel extra personal. Highly recommended!"
"I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was quite spacious and clean. The hotel had a pleasant scent throughout, which made it feel very fresh and welcoming. The facilities were great, and the gym is well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a comfortable and pleasant experience — would stay again!"
"Pro:Amenities in room are good.Water pressure in bathroom was high and it’s good.My son enjoy bath in the bathtub very much.
Thanks for hotel arrange for a birthday cake as i had highlighted that the purpose stay in hotel was celebrate my son and husband birthday
There is one chinese seafood stall call Haoyou which the price are reasonable and food taste nice. The stall just step down from the hotel.
Cons:Long queue for waiting lift during check out time.Had been wait for 20 min. The waiting area do not have aircond and very hot which make the waiting situation getting worst."
"It is a value for money experience for me. Stay short and continue travel. I arrive the hotel after mid night. Frontdesk staff processed my reservation quick. I recommend an advance email notification for late arrival. Good location. 10 mins to Penang International airport."
"Everything about my stay at Eastin Hotel Penang was excellent. The room was clean, the staff were professional and friendly, and the location was very convenient for business purposes. Amenities in the room were complete and well-maintained. I appreciated the minibar and coffee setup. Highly recommended for business travellers."
"The location of Olive tree is good as it is just a walking distance to the restaurants. Spice Arena and jogging track are just beside the hotel. swimming pool was under renovation thus i couldn't use it. Gym is quite spacious with opening times from 5am - 2am daily is good to go for early or late workouts."
"We booked a room here because we had a lot of time before our flight in the evening. It’s a 12-15 min drive to the Penang Intl’ Airport. Therefore, it was the perfect location to rest and not have to rush to the airport from the city centre. Staff were also patient and friendly but do note their reception does not operate 24 hours. If you check it anytime before dusk, you’re safe! Otherwise, the unit we stayed in was spacious and clean. It’s a studio apartment with a living area, bathroom, a kitchenette and a loft."
"Very new hotel. Less than 1 year. Room very spacious. King size bed very comfortable. Have pillow menu to choose type of pillow that you prefer for your sleep. Nice view of city and Penang bridge. Lot of local cafe and restaurant within walking distance. Queenbay mall just a short ride away."

Great
WWenwuThe hotel is located in Teluk Bahang, furthest away from Batu Ferringhi Beach, offering excellent privacy and a peaceful environment. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the two swimming pools were great for relaxing. Although the beach area is small, it was still pleasant, and the breakfast variety was acceptable. However, the hospitality could be improved. I arrived at 1:30 PM and was informed that the room was not yet ready, and the receptionist would call once it was. Unfortunately, when I returned after 2:30 PM, the receptionist was missing, and I later found out that the room had already been ready for some time. Additionally, no welcome drink was offered upon arrival or during check-in. Overall, while the stay was comfortable and the facilities were good, the service experience was disappointing.
GGuest UserI came on holiday with my 8-month-old baby, and the staff here have been incredibly helpful and friendly. They asked if I needed a baby cot, and once I said yes, they quickly arranged it and brought it to my room. The room itself is very spacious with a beautiful view. They even offered a complimentary welcome drink. The hotel also has a big swimming pool and a gym. What I really love is that they provide a playroom for kids, which makes it perfect for families. Just outside the hotel, there’s a small market, making it very convenient. I’ll definitely book here again the next time I visit Malaysia for a holiday.
JJaeikThe host was friendly to provide midnight check in and room condition was clean and tidy with good air conditioning. And the location was convenient from Queensway mall.
GGuest UserI booked 1 night hotel for accommodation. New hotel furniture and interior inside room. Clean and spacious even my room no windows. No toiletries provided but its ok for me. Tv with internet and im enjoyed watching YouTube and Netflix. Iron and board need to share upon request. Staff is polite. Next to hotel there is 24hr convenient store and thai restaurant. Walking distance 300m to mc donald, giant hypermarket and 500m to Pantai hospital. Price is affordable. Will not hesitate to come again if having business trip there.
JJaycee JjHi . Newly open hotel , i think this one also room for rent monthly . Need to call staff when arriving and got public parking as well. Not a very convenience place but for the price and the cleanliness, is very high recommended. They only provide u soap, so u need to bring your amenities like toothbrush . The towel is for kids size but since I’m travelling w my mom then no issues . Very could and nice place for a short stay. Below at morning time got the nasi lemak viral for rm1, and the green thai tea also very delicious .
GGuest UserCertainly! Below is a **detailed, balanced, and constructive review template** for **Hangoutspacez Queensbay** (or a similar budget/co-living space in Penang). Since this isn’t a widely documented property, I’ll structure it generically so you can adapt it based on your actual experience.
---
### **Hangoutspacez Queensbay – Honest Review**
**Location: ★★★★☆** (4/5)
- **Pros:** Close to Queensbay Mall (5–10 min walk), easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport. Convenient for business travelers (Bayan Lepas tech zone) or tourists exploring Penang’s south.
- **Cons:** Not in the heart of tourist spots like George Town (requires Grab/taxi).
**Cleanliness: ★★★☆☆** (3.5/5)
- **Pros:** Daily cleaning for common areas; linens provided are fresh.
- **Cons:** Occasional maintenance issues (e.g., slow drain in showers, worn-out furniture). Budget vibe—don’t expect luxury.
**Facilities: ★★★☆☆** (3/5)
- **Pros:** Free WiFi (decent speed), communal kitchen, and lounge area. Good for solo travelers or digital nomads.
- **Cons:** No gym/pool; shared bathrooms can get crowded during peak hours.
**Staff & Service: ★★★★☆** (4/5)
- Friendly and helpful for local tips, but limited 24/7 front desk support.
**Value for Money: ★★★★☆** (4/5)
- Affordable for Penang (around RM50–100/night for dorms). Ideal for short stays, but may lack long-term comforts.
**Room for Improvement:**
1. **Better Soundproofing** – Noise from common areas can be heard in private rooms.
2. **More Power Outlets** – Limited charging points in dorms.
3. **Clearer House Rules** – E.g., quiet hours or kitchen cleanup policies.
**Verdict:**
A **no-frills, social budget stay** best suited for backpackers, solo travelers, or those attending nearby events. Manage expectations—it’s functional but not luxurious.
---
### **How to Use This Review Constructively:**
- **If You’re a Traveler:** Compare with alternatives (e.g., Tune Hotel, capsule hostels). Prioritize location vs. price.
- **If You’re the Property Owner:** Address cleanliness/maintenance, add clear signage for rules and maybe create any accessible lockers available to utilize the space in the efficient manner.
