The hotel is 6 minutes from Bar Harbor, located by water. It’s bigger then most of its chain hotel. The hotel’s sign on the road is “Bar Harbor Regency”. They should change the Holiday Inn “ sign at outside so the customer is easy to find it. I booked 2 queen room. When I check in , I was upgraded to 2 queen room in the main building, which was very nice. The room is very clean, bathroom is big. I will recommend this hotel to other people.

We stayed in the Duck Brook Room. Easy access to elevator and a large comfortable room. King bed, 2 windows to front of property that we opened for fresh air, a table and 2 chairs and separate counter area with microwave and small fridge. Our only stop with a recycle bin in our room - THANK YOU! The staff was always very courteous and the included breakfast each morning was wonderful. Walking distance to the downtown restaurant and shops area. Plenty of parking in the back of the Inn.

A girls trip to the East coast brought us to Bar Harbor in hopes of leaf-peeping. Unfortunately we were too early for seeing many colors, but we certainly enjoyed our time there nevertheless. The BHG was a lovely and convenient place for our stay. The front desk personnel were most helpful in securing printed Acadia park passes. They were also spot on with recommendations for dining. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied. The housekeeping staff were most friendly and did a great job. Staying here also made it easier to score a dinner reservation at The Reading Room at The Bar Harbor Inn, a sister property.

Wonderful Hampton with great views and friendly staff. It's a little walk from the downtown area, but we enjoyed the scenery on the walk there. The breakfast each morning was some of the best that I have had at a Hampton. Usually, I'll skip breakfast because there really isn't anything I'm interested in eating. Not here, they had a wide variety of hot and cold foods to choose from. Also, it's a very clean hotel and nicely decorated. I would definitely stay here again if we were to travel back to Bar Harbor and highly recommend.

So - this little quaint motel in Bar Harbor might not suit everybody’s taste. It is an old fashioned motel. The rooms are old - as in the a/c units are have dials that you turn numbered 1-10. But they work great !! We had the ground floor and there are plastic patio chairs outside the rooms where we sat and enjoyed our morning coffee from the continental breakfast each morning. The rooms are extremely clean and the staff was wonderful and treated you like old friends!! We loved this little place!! It felt like a step back in time !!

Glad we chose this location. We wanted something in town and affordable. Family of 5 with 3 young adults requires 2 rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and helpful. We loved the location with easy walking to shops and restaurants. Jordan’s was a good location for a hearty and fast breakfast (2 blocks) and there’s a mini fridge in the room. The motel is also an easy 4 blocks to the Bar Island hike at low tide. We loved our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia!
