Really beautiful location - mountains surrounding it and such a pretty little town. The first room we were offered was beautiful and large, but it was quite dark with only one window. We were quickly offered a choice of other rooms, which were slightly smaller, but with much more light flooding in. The set menu dinner was really great value and we enjoyed all three courses with a nice wine. Maybe slightly pricey on the B&B cost but we were there when there was a big event in the town so it was quite busy. Breakfast had a wide selection and the swimming pool was beautifully clear but icy cold!! The sun terrace was really warm though, so great to be refreshed then warm up in the sun. Really friendly and helpful team - thank you to the staff for such a lovely stay.

Balneario de Panticosa - Hotel Continental Nada que ver con lo que se aparece en la web Hemos tenido la oportunidad de hospedarnos en sus instalaciones estos pasados días 6,7 y 8 de febrero. La finalidad de nuestra estancia en el Hotel Continental era poder visitar el lugar (el entorno es precioso) y conocer sus instalaciones para poder evaluar la posibilidad de celebrar la boda de nuestros hijos ahí y celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa que fue el día 7 de febrero. Reservamos un pack denominado, creo, “Día inolvidable”. En concreto la razón de mi correo es para puntualizarles como ya dejé constancia en mi reclamación de que las imágenes que se publican en su web de las habitaciones distan mucho de la realidad que encontramos en las mismas, al menos de las que nos tocaron a nosotros. Nuestra reserva rezaba “habitación doble superior” y por lo que he visto en su web nos dieron 2 habitaciones que están denominadas como Estándar. La primera habitación, la 2315, cuyas fotografías les adjunto, es evidente que no tienen nada que ver con lo que se ve en su vídeo promocional. 1. Suelos en mal estado. 2. Puertas del baño que no cierran y no permiten la privacidad mínimamente exigible. Ni la exterior de madera, ni la interior de cristal. 3. Falta de bombilla en un lado de la cabecera de la cama. 4. Dos camas juntas, ambas sin frenar. Una de ellas, al parecer no tenía freno y se movía. 5. La ducha, desde mi punto de vista no se ajusta al nivel que Ustedes ofrecen. 6. Agujeros en las paredes, maderas en mal estado y humedades evidentes que dejan una imagen que no le gustaría a nadie. 7. También comenté que en el desayuno del dia 7 los platos calientes estaban fríos (4 platos calientes - huevos fritos, revueltos, langoniza a trozos, bacon -frio- y chorizo a trozos), de lo cual toma nota la Srta de recepción y se excusa al respecto, al día siguiente no mejoró. Intento hablar con recepción por teléfono la primera noche (6 a 7) pero al parecer era demasiado tarde o no funcionaba el teléfono, no podría decirles. A la mañana siguiente quiero expresar mi decepción en el mostrador de recepción y solicito hablar con el Director o responsable y la respuesta de la Srta que me atiende es anotar las incidencias y darme una hoja de sugerencias. Soy yo quien ha de sugerir un cambio de habitación y en ese momento me contesta la Srta de recepción que tiene que preguntar, para lo cual entra en el back office y, entiendo, habla con algún superior quien autoriza el cambio. En ningún momento se persona un responsable en el mostrador. Lo cual me extraña. He estado trabajando en el Sector de Customer Service como responsable y no he tenido reparo en atender las reclamaciones de mis clientes y ofrecerles una solución. Lo mismo ocurre al solicitar la hoja de reclamaciones el día ocho por la mañana. La recepcionista entra en el back office y sale con la hoja de reclamaciones sellada, pero no se persona el responsable en recepción. Se nos da la habitación 2322 por la mañ

This is a lovely hotel in a spectacular setting. The conversion of the historic train station into a luxury hotel has been done so nicely. We enjoyed everything about the hotel and will definitely return. All of the staff were very nice, and we were especially grateful to meet Javier at reception, and Raul in the Biblioteca cocktail bar. Javier helped us plan an amazing hike from the hotel, he is very kind. Raul makes the most delicious cocktails, and on the nights he is running the bar solo it is a calm and relaxing experience. We appreciated that.

This review is difficult as some things were great and others were not. Overall I think the Hotel is great and with a little effort could be brilliant. Its geographical position is stunning and positioned in such a beautiful area. sadly some of the reviewers comment on staff and interaction - they are correct. Our check-in was originally not going to be friendly but the lady seemed to get it right when I persevered in a happy manner - when she turned she was exceptionally good - but I had to work to get her there. The next young lady on reception was rude and sullen and all my attempts to get her to smile and be helpful did not work. The young man in the cafeteria was superb and one other lady was excellent along with one other lady who was abrupt. Their dog policies are all over the place and not coherent and indeed if they are coherent all the staff have a different understanding of them. Would I revisit this Hotel? Absolutely - All I hope is they get their staffing right and their policies uniform.

A super experience. We celebrated a family birthday with three rooms, one single, one double and one quadruple; All three were very spacious and comfortable. Highlight its pool-spa, very large, with a variety of jets and two jacuzzis. We had a great afternoon. Adequate buffet breakfast, highlighting the coffee. And the dinner is also very good. Very friendly staff. 100% recommendable

The staff were great, really friendly, and service was good. Food was brilliant and enough for sustaining us bikers. The Spa was a lovely place to unwind and the sauna plus steam sauna were too hot for me. The jacuzzi was really full on with plenty of blasting jets. Only gets a max of 3 in there though. The pool was lovely and just right, not too warm or cool. The views are stunning and a walk of 2km to Canfranc Estation (A railway station), and the now made into a new hotel, that it is now, is a nice walk to do. It's a historic building built in Franco's time, and is stunning. The only let down was the room, there had been smoking in my room, I could smell the after effects. The decor was dark and could do with repairs in places. A redecoration would lift it and new windows to replace the bedrooms rotten frames, plus a brighter colour would make it refreshing. The decor of the whole place, I felt I felt was quite depressing.
