Hotel Continental Balneario de Panticosa

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I made a reservation to spend a few days in Panticosa and relax in the SPA, but the day before traveling a weather alert was declared due to strong winds that prevented driving on the road, I also tried to move but the wind hit more every time we went up. strong the wind. I called the hotel to cancel the reservation and they told me that they were going to charge me 50% of the amount as a penalty. It seemed like abuse to me, since I was not to blame for the situation and it was a cause of force majeure. When I returned home I tried to talk to the manager, but he refused to assist me, so I sent an email and they told me that it is not cause to cancel. (If you look at the OCU for hotel cancellation due to bad weather or force majeure, it turns out that I have every right to get my money back) I felt cheated and cheated by this hotel, which only cares about money and not the customer satisfaction. I will not book again at this hotel or any of its chain. It is a shame that they treat people who want to enjoy a vacation like this.

Points in favor: spacious and spacious hotel, breakfast and dinner hours OK, the breakfast bacon is real (important for me), the bottled water from Panticosa is sublime, the welcome drink is great for booking directly on its own website. Negative points: decoration and comfort of common areas very spartan and basic, the buffet desserts are very mediocre. Fuimos 4 días para esquiar, cogimos media pensión con spa incluido, lo primero al llegar aparcas el coche lejos, vas a la recepción, una vez que lo encuentras, porque está muy mal indicado, y le dices que si te pueden abrir la barrera para meter el coche y descargar maletas y demás artilugios para el ski y la respuesta es NO, pillar el carro y las traes, empezamos mal, 30 minutos después vuelves a la recepción para hacer la entrada, le dices lo del spa que lo explique y a que hora lo podíamos usar ese mismo día, y nos dice que ese día no está incluido, aunque lo hayamos pillado, segundo NO en toda la cara. La habitación pequeña pequeña, pedimos cama de matrimonio, nos toco 2 camas individuales, el baño con bañera, que cuando te duchabas se mojaba todo el suelo, adjuntofoto. Bajamos a cenar, eso era....todos como perros hambrientos y con mil niños tocando todo, cogiendo y dejando comida, un desastre...cenamos mal y la comida nada buena para un 4 estrellas. Al día siguiente bajamos a desayunar, un café malisimo, el bufet malo malo, el fiambre peor, el jamón York sabía fatal, ni un poco de jamón serrano... .mucho que desear sinceramente. Fuimos al spa por la tarde, hay horarios para que puedan entrar los niños, Fuimos fuera de ese horario y eso parecía una piscina infantil, por no hablar de las instalaciones, fuera de servicio muchas, otras imposible de usar y le falta a todo mucho mantenimiento y está todo descuidado. Hay que destacar el enclave, es precioso, luego una camarera granadina y Virginia de la recepción. Vamos en conclusión, las 4 estrellas sinceramente no se por que las tiene. Es un quiero y no puedo y tiene muchas mas sombras que luces. No tienen ningún detalle, por ejemplo en muchos hoteles que he estado, tienen jarras de agua en la recepción para que bebas, aquí es todo abaratar costes y eso se nota. Volver?? En La vida vamos. Nos trataron mejor en un refugio que hay al lado de unas pistas de esqui de fondo que en el hotel de "4estrellas".

Complejo con 2 hoteles y unos baños termales en un emplazamiento idílico. El hotel Continental, pese a sus 4 estrellas, deja mucho que desear. El wifi funciona regulero, las instalaciones están dejadas, la estética es ochentera y los desayunos son terroríficos por la escasa calidad de los productos. La habitación era amplia, pero con carencias, ventanas mal ajustadas y un baño simplón sin estantes en la ducha, que con su ausencia de puerta, es un coladero de agua. Los baños termales están bien ideados y tienen un circuito bueno, pero nuevamente, parecen sacados de los 80. Conclusión: sirve para pernoctar sin pedirle peras al olmo, y luego huir sin mirar atrás. Una pena; el sitio es espectacular.
