Hotels near Wat Puranawat in Bangkok

The address is very convenient, close to Mahidol University, there are many restaurants downstairs of the hotel, and it is also convenient to take a car. I will stay there often in the future. There is a strong smell in the room, probably due to the new decoration. This aspect needs improvement. Air conditioners, refrigerators, microwaves and electric stoves are all available, which can solve family travel problems.

Good room, and quiet. Recommended for people who would like to take a rest and call it a day. There is a parking space in each building, you would have to walk outside if you wish to visit their front office.

Good things first: the breakfast was pretty good, especially the natural honey on offer; the cleaning staff were very nice; and the hotel is based on a knitting theme with lots of nice knitwear on sale. The not so good: the room was ill maintained, the toilet stank and the water pressure on the top floor was a joke. The rooms cost the same as any good 4-start hotel in the middle of Bangkok. So the size and the dilapidated state of the rooms was a surprise. To be fair, the hotel is intended to cater to locals and specializes in weddings and business retreats. So they are not competing in the same market as tourist hotels in the middle of Bangkok.

The atmosphere of the accommodation is quiet, the weather is good, the staff is lovely, the management is excellent, the bedroom is on the cover, sleeps very well. But secretly regret that there is no breakfast Must go out to find something to eat outside

It's a very large hotel set right upon the railway line, that's a direct walkway to the station. Checkin was very busy and staff weren't so friendly on all interactions with them, but efficient and functional. Bear in mind that you're going to get noise whether you're in the rail line side or other side from traffic, but if you close the bathroom door the noise is minimized. There was a jug and 2 mugs in the room, nice new bedding and a clean renovated bathroom. Noise from the corridor can be loud with people talking and doors slamming but again, for the price it's quite a good option with an undercover walkway across a busy road to the airport rail line which makes for an easy early morning flight. There's a 500thb deposit, for what I don't know, the rooms are pretty spartan, anyway never mind. That's all, I'd have to have a think if I'd stay again. Hope this helps, good luck
