The Siam

Riverside Bangkok|2.41km from Wat Bowonniwet
We had the pleasure of staying at The Siam for 4 nights in early May 2022. Quarantine-free travel had just lifted so we were lucky to have almost the entire hotel to ourselves for a few days.. Our stay was amazing. The service was impeccable, our private butler (Tong) helped us out with all of our bookings and arrangements and was a great source of recommendations on top of the Bangkok guide provided by the hotel which was very helpful as well. We met the general manager, Nick, who was very accommodating and regularly checked in to make sure our stay was 100%. The hotel room we had was spacious and well decorated with a comfy kingsize bed. The interior of the hotel is like a combination of a palace meets museum, with antique art from around the world in every room and hallway. We found the library was a great place to do some quiet work (unfortunately that was required), and we made use of the private hotel boat to get anywhere on the river, such a fun (and quick!) way to get around Bangkok and avoid the sometimes busy traffic. The restaurant was also great - what better way to start the day than having breakfast overlooking the river. Would also recommend the Spa downstairs, a very relaxing way to recover from busy Bangkok, as well as making use of the “screening room” which is a small private cinema you can book whilst ordering from the room-service menu. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok, absolutely worth it and 10/10 recommended.

New Central Guesthouse
3.6/533 Reviews
Khaosan Road
The New Central Guesthouse hotel offers simple rooms, but for its price and location they are a gang. We have been staying in Bangkok 3 times, in the same area, and it is hard to find so cheap rooms in this part of the city and that are double rooms and above with air conditioning. The room has only one bed, a bathroom, towels, a pair of fine coats and a tie. The room and the bathroom are unconditioned, except for having a shower with a pressure that is a wonder and hot water for you need it in a warm country like Thailand. People complain about the location but even though it looks a little tettric the small street where it is located I think it is safer than the Kao San Road itself. The hotel is a very nice hotel, and it is a great place to stay in the hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

Looking for a couple of days in Bangkok, accidentally with his wife encountered this hotel, drew attention that the bar on the roof is!!! But it turned out that everything was much worse than we assumed, we thought the bar was only for the guests of the hotel! But for nothing we thought so, because everyone wants, people take the bar celebrate there. Birthday, etc. As a result we were set right under the bar! Noise is terrible, not to sleep until the hour of the night definitely won't turn out!!! The Internet works bad! But the rooms themselves are very good, clean!

What an amazing stay in Suraya. I had a great nights stay here. The hostel is newly opened and I really felt like staying in a hotel not a hostel well ..I got comfy bed, private bathroom, towels plus the room was so lovely and super clean I love theirs artwork. Service was great too, friendly staff! I'll be coming back again :) POV : Great location it’s surrounded by the good restaurants, lovely local coffee (I highly recommended Kayy coffee and Wanlika) most importantly it’s only taking less than 10 minutes walk to popular Khosan Road. If you wanna take a break from a nightlife I recommend self sightseeing around the hostel there’s so much things to see. I went to thai temple “Wat Bowon Nivet”, which is just across from the hostel. I saw the beautiful golden pagoda from my window so I decided to pay my respect to the temple and I’m glad I did :) Love this neighborhood and this place so much !
The Moon Night Hotel

Khaosan Road
There is no breakfast, there is a dining bar downstairs, with free water, coffee and juice. There are also small cakes. The room has poor sound insulation, on the 5th floor, there is no elevator, large luggage needs to be transported by a machine, and people can only climb the stairs. The previous booking commented that there was a smell of sewers, but it was really smelly on the 4th floor. The family room on the 5th floor did not smell really good. The air conditioner sounds louder. Hotel service is okay. It is relatively close to Khao San Road and not far from the Grand Palace. The alleys are hard to find, and the surrounding key is not good.
Thai Cozy House

How do you say that when you fly back from Phuket to Bangkok, the hotel was booked in the middle of the night. If you don’t pay for the early check-in, it’s useless to find a place close to the hotel. If you only spend one night, you can consider the hotel cooling. Really powerful, the air conditioning sound is too big, the bathroom is very small, the sheets are not clean, it is recommended to wear clothes and sleep with a disposable toilet seat.
