The Siam

Riverside Bangkok|1.62km from The Museum of Floral Culture
We had the pleasure of staying at The Siam for 4 nights in early May 2022. Quarantine-free travel had just lifted so we were lucky to have almost the entire hotel to ourselves for a few days.. Our stay was amazing. The service was impeccable, our private butler (Tong) helped us out with all of our bookings and arrangements and was a great source of recommendations on top of the Bangkok guide provided by the hotel which was very helpful as well. We met the general manager, Nick, who was very accommodating and regularly checked in to make sure our stay was 100%. The hotel room we had was spacious and well decorated with a comfy kingsize bed. The interior of the hotel is like a combination of a palace meets museum, with antique art from around the world in every room and hallway. We found the library was a great place to do some quiet work (unfortunately that was required), and we made use of the private hotel boat to get anywhere on the river, such a fun (and quick!) way to get around Bangkok and avoid the sometimes busy traffic. The restaurant was also great - what better way to start the day than having breakfast overlooking the river. Would also recommend the Spa downstairs, a very relaxing way to recover from busy Bangkok, as well as making use of the “screening room” which is a small private cinema you can book whilst ordering from the room-service menu. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok, absolutely worth it and 10/10 recommended.

Very quiet oasis tucked away. In a local area lots of Thais. By evening local streets quiet again. Pool cold but not so deep. Wi-Fi apparently being worked on so was not great. Overall a beautiful hotel, high standard of room and bathroom.

It was convenient to have a cafe and a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. 7-Eleven is nearby and grabs well. The room is spacious and clean. The pool is small, but it's so pretty, and it's prettier when the lights turn on in the evening The pictures come out so well

Everything is good. The room is clean, shampoo and shampoo are provided without trapping, refrigerator, hair dryer, microwave are available. The security system is very good. Use a key card. But if the door is not closed completely, the alarm will sound and disturb other rooms. Disadvantage: The room is not soundproof. I heard the sound of the room next door talking very loudly, but it's OK. You can rest.
Ze Residence Bang Aor Station

It's worth the price. It's a budget accomodation with basic amenities but it is what you paid for. It's only 20 min by car from Don Mueang airport and 3 min walk from Bang O metro station. They provide taxy ride to the hotel on your request. If no one is at the reception, when you arrive, call the number on the door and they will give you password and instructions how to get the key card from the small boxes on the right of the door.
