Spacious Rooms and Good Service, but Noise and Location Are Drawbacks I stayed at Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit 36 with my mom for business purposes. While the hotel had its positives, there were some notable downsides. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a partial view of the city and the hotel. The swimming pool, however, was quite small, and the breakfast options were very limited—not what we expected. The breakfast buffet vouchers felt unnecessary; it might be better to revamp or eliminate that system altogether. The location was another issue. The hotel is far from the BTS station, and walking there involves navigating a road full of cars, which isn’t very safe or convenient. However, the hotel offered excellent service by providing drop-off and pick-up shuttles to and from the BTS station, which was a great help. The biggest downside, unfortunately, was the noise. Our neighbors were hosting a loud dinner with screaming kids from midnight until 2 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. Despite multiple complaints to the front desk, nothing was done to resolve the issue for two nights in a row. On the bright side, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, doing their best to assist us during our stay. In summary, while the hotel has good service and comfortable rooms, the location, limited breakfast, and lack of noise control were significant drawbacks

This is an amazing hotel that provided excellent services. From the moment we entered the hotel room, the bed was decorated with snacks, drinks and birthday decorations to welcome us. This is a memorable birthday for my boy. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable including the special bunk bed. The bathroom (with bathtub and rain shower), sink and toilets are separated. You will not be bored with the selection of the buffet breakfast because it changes everyday and covers a wide variety. We also enjoyed the free 24 hours buggy service/ Tuk Tuk. The driver communicated well in English and provided good recommendation to us on which locations to drop off. We also got the opportunity to receive a free 15 min Thai massage. Other special services include free Thai Costume and photo taking which are all very amazing. Both hotel staff Mild and Nam were very professional, friendly, kind and patient. We had a chance to experience wearing Thai Costume and kept a memorable family, couple and solo photos. It is truly a memorable and unforgettable stay. I will definitely choose Vince hotel next time when visiting BKK again.

The hotel is located on the quieter side of Bangkok. Nearest BTS station is Phra Khanong. So you can easily go around Bangkok. Breakfast was awesome. Pool is small but enough to chill, there is a pool bar too.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our stop over in Bangkok. As soon as we arrived we were so impressed; the lobby was super inviting and modern. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and attentive to our every need during our stay. We stayed on the 32nd floor and the views of Bangkok from our window were just insane, we had a perfect view of the sunset and at night time it just felt magical! We could even see the Mahanakon Sky walk from our room which wasn’t far from the hotel which we ended up visiting ( would recommend if you like heights and a roof top drink! ) The room was spacious, we had all our luxuries with coffee/ tea, hairdryer and even the small details of supplying some extra toiletries ( my girlfriend really appreciated these ! ) The room felt very modern and was a comfortable place for us to catch up on some work ( as we work online ) whilst feeling right at home. On that note the wifi is very fast! Whilst travelling around we love to make time to keep on top of our fitness and the hotel gym was perfect for our needs, great variety of equipment and floor space for yoga. The outdoor pool was perfect to chill out on the loungers and go for a dip with some scenic city views! We also had breakfast here and the variety of hot / cold food was good and the coffees were amazing! The omelette station was our favourite! We were told they are building a bar and restaurant for the 38th floor which wasn’t ready when we were there but that will definitely be such a nice touch! Gutted we couldn’t experience that, maybe next time when we come back to Bangkok. Location was very good, not far from shopping centres like icon Siam and central world ( about 10 min taxi ride ) and a few restaurants and cafes around the neighbourhood. It's also a 15 minute walk to Lumpini park. Would really recommend this hotel for comfort, location, wifi and just a really lovely stay! Can’t wait to come back! Lauren and Reece.

Great experience for the first time starting in this hotel. The front desk has given us the best friendliness service I ever experienced. Patiently attend to our requests & questions, provide suggestions and explain the consequences of our options. This gave us a great and hassle free trip. We were able to travel to many attractions without wasting time. The Hotel room is clean, breakfast is also yummy and comparable to the 5 star hotel. The location is good, connecting to the BTS station.

A hotel worthy of its name! This is my second time staying at Carlton. I've stayed at several different hotels along the Sukhumvit road, however, this is by far the best hotel I must say! It still feels brand new, and the room is very spacious, whether you get the standard one, or the executive one on the higher floors! The view of the city is stunning! Probably my favorite part of the room is the huge window which lets a lot of lights in + opening the automated drapes first thing in the morning! I'm not a big fan of stuffy dark room. It's conveniently located along the Sukhumvit road and area, where you can find many trendy bars around, restaurants, massage parlors, convenience stores like 7-Eleven. Furthermore, it's walking distance to the hip new mall Emsphere, where they have the sky walk to Phrom Phong BTS station to get to other destinations around the city. The bed is comfy enough, cleanliness is impeccable, and I love the pool too. I haven't been able to use the gym facility or the sauna at the hotel, but they look well-equipped. I stayed for 3 nights this time, and I'm definitely coming back in the future. It's a bit pricier compared to some other hotels, but you get what you pay for. Wide breakfast selection, cool rooftop bar... Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with the hotel! Not much interaction with the staffs to be honest, but last year (2023) my company organized a seminar here and everybody was very supportive and helpful with the arrangement.

Surrounded by an array of shopping malls, massage parlors, and exquisite dining options, the hotel's location is simply unbeatable. One of my new favorite destinations, the Emsphere mall, is just an eight-minute walk away, adding an extra layer of convenience. The area is peppered with numerous 7-Eleven stores, ensuring that all essentials are always within easy reach. I also discovered a fantastic new Japanese restaurant near the hotel, which serves exceptional cuisine. The skybar provides breathtaking views, making it an ideal place to unwind. The comfort and brightness of the rooms are particularly appealing to me. Overall, the Skyview Hotel offers an extraordinary blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury, making every stay a memorable one. 💖💖

Location is perfect. Full of restaurants and bar. The center night life but in the morning also many coffee shops nearby. The room is huge and water pressure is good.

For part of our honeymoon, my wife and I stayed in the Executive Suite at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20, and it was a truly exceptional experience. Room: The Executive Suite was perfect for our special occasion—spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The room offered a modern, elegant design with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time together. Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight each morning. The buffet featured a wide range of dishes, with new options added daily. From fresh pastries to local Thai delicacies and a variety of Western choices, there was something for every palate. Executive Lounge: Having access to the Executive Lounge was a fantastic perk. Throughout the day, we enjoyed a variety of delicious refreshments, and from 5-7 pm, we indulged in complimentary cocktails and other alcoholic beverages whilst looking out over the city as the sun set upon it. The relaxed atmosphere and attentive service made it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Service and Management: The staff at Novotel were genuinely lovely—attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel is clearly well-managed, with everything running smoothly and efficiently, adding to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. Location: Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 is ideally situated in one of Bangkok’s most vibrant districts, offering convenient access to a range of amenities and attractions. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from both the MRT (Metro) and BTS (Skytrain) stations, making it easy to explore the city. The surrounding area is bustling with a variety of dining options, from street food to upscale restaurants (I strongly recommend Esaan Nation Kitchen) as well as numerous massage parlors for a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. For shopping enthusiasts, Terminal 21 Plaza is nearby, providing a convenient spot for quick shopping. While it’s great for a casual browse, we found Icon Siam to be a more enjoyable destination for a full shopping experience. Additionally, the area is well-equipped with essential services, including hairdressers, laundry facilities, and a 7-Eleven just 50 meters up the street, perfect for grabbing late-night snacks or drinks. This prime location offers the perfect blend of convenience and local charm, making it an excellent base for exploring Bangkok. Overall Experience: Our stay at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 was everything we hoped for and more. The combination of a luxurious suite, excellent amenities, and outstanding service made it the perfect choice for our honeymoon. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Bangkok. Excellent location. Good friendly staff. The aircon in my room was noisy and the breakfast a little limited. But very good clean room otherwise. Lots of great restaurants and street food nearby. Enjoyed my stay and will return.
