Over 1000 Bangkok hotels on Trip.com to choose from, many are very nice, but Royal Benja location at the Top End of Soi 5 are too nice

Unfortunately, a bad experience. I do not recommend it. The reception staff are not cooperative. It is not clean. I found insects in the room.

Location - amazing location, very much near to Nana station and happening area. Multiple pure veg restaurants are around the hotel, which was one of the biggest checkpoints for us.
Cleanliness - A very polite staff, always on time to clean the room.
Spacious room, probably biggest in this budget. Extra beds can be helpful for a family, too.
Tour planner - The hotel agent gave us a wonderful deal to explore the bangkok.
Surely we will stay again.

I like the location of this hotel. You get easy access to the local and international food and public transportation. What I like about is just the doorman service and the room size . However, the front desk service and facilities were below my expectations considering the price of the rooms. Some of things such as toilet and bathtub are not properly maintained; thus, you flush the toilet but the water won’t stop flushing out for about 15 minutes. Terribly, the front desks staff charged me for a friend’s visit. I had to fight back and get my money back. It’s only at this hotel I paid deposit for using a socket adapter! First and last time. Bye bye Royal Benja Hotel

This is a cheap hotel for a reason.
You know the reason.
It says 5* but I don’t know they’ve had to bribe to keep that going. Places hasn’t changed since the 80s only that they’ve cut corners every step of the way down to get that cheap price tag at the center of town.

Very nice Hotel, I spent most the day following up with Trip.com Group to fix my temporarily malfunctioning Diamond VIP account, I booked this hotel with a new account. As a temporary solution, until my VIP Diamond account is fully restored, the culpirt behind the sabotage is exposed and addressed
I recommended Trip.com to owners and guests worldwide due to my personal positive experience. I have to keep my recommendation honorable, updated, and honest.
