Luggage service took half an hour, which delayed our trip schedule. Hotel with good facilities and welcoming service but the management of the business seems to be a bit unorganised and inefficient.

This is not the first time we stayed at this hotel (about 3rd or 4th time over the years) so we booked the room type that is fitting. For some reason the reception informed us that we were "upgraded". But it turned out it's not really an upgrade except the name of the room ("royal" or something) which is in fact smaller than our original booking. We called downstairs waiting to change back to our original booking. They agreed to come up and pick up our luggage and show us to our originally booked room. We waited but no one came. Luckily we didn't unpack but frustrated that we had to go downstairs to pick up the keys ourselves.
Apart from that, the whole stay was enjoyable, with great breakfast service, great Sunday brunch, great swimming pool and so on. And we probably will stay here again next time in Bangkok.
The lesson for others is that do your homework, don't automatically trust any "upgrades" (maybe the staff genuinely thought it was an upgrade) and demand change right away, don't wait staff to come to you. Sometimes it's their English standards, sometimes it's just their working pace.

The hotel location is very convenient, just around 5 minutes walk from BTS Phloen Chit station. Hotel is luxurious and clean. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Will definitely come again.

Service was very good and the hotel is in a convinient location. Room carpet can be cleaner and also the toilet can be sanatised more.
