The hallway lighting gives off a creepy vibe, reminiscent of an old hospital. While the staff were hospitable and the food was okay, the overall ambiance of the place felt quite old and eerie, almost like a ******* house. The room had a strong musty odor, so we had to buy an aerosol air freshener to make it more bearable. One guest also behaved oddly, which added to the unsettling atmosphere.

The hotel’s location is truly unbeatable. Situated just a short walk from some of the city’s top temples, we enjoyed morning visits without the hassle of long commutes. In the evenings, the vibrant street-food scene is right at your doorstep—tons of delicious stalls serving local snacks, curries, and desserts. It was a food lover’s paradise! This is a rustique vibe hotel with beautiful city view upon request.
Overall, perfect for travelers who value cleanliness, want easy access to cultural highlights, and love exploring local cuisine.

This is my second time staying at this quaint hotel. Its excellent location, close to BKK train station , Blue MRT line and it's just at the entrance of Bangkok's Chinatown. Our twin room has a fridge, kettle and a balcony overlooking the canal and the Hua Lamphung train station. Beautiful night views. Staff is friendly, conversant in English and mandarin. There's a buffet breakfast with a variety of western and Thai food. Great value for money.
There's a washing machine and dryer available too Baht 50 for a 10kg wash load and the dryer operates on a 10 minute cycle @Baht10 per cycle.

The overall experience was excellent, particularly in terms of service quality and location. However, one area for improvement would be the breakfast menu, which remained the same throughout our five-day stay. Introducing some variety would significantly enhance guest satisfaction. Aside from this, most aspects of our stay were of a very high standard.

It’s a uniquely beautiful old hotel with all the memories of the 60s to till today . Nearby are the Hualumpong and mrt station and Chinatown and Banthat thong road nightlife are a short stroll away . And also a wonderful breakfast compliment from hotel .
