I loved my stay here! My room, 2 PM, was a little small but had all the comforts and mod-cons I needed and a phenomenal view towards Wat Arun. Elsewhere, I really enjoyed the quirky decor, the lovely breakfasts, the funky cafes (highly recommend Tonkin Annam) in the neighbourhood, and the ease of access to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Sanam Chai MRT, and ferry piers. I could even walk down to Khaosan and Chinatown in under 20 minutes. I'd also make special mention of the family running the hotel - they're very warm and caring - as well as the value for money. That said, I'd recommend prospective stay-ers to keep in mind that the hotel lacks an elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Staff is happy to help with luggage, but if you have mobility issues, this is (unfortunately) not the place for you. Would I change anything? Not really - except for maybe adding skid-strips on the stairs to prevent from slipping. Would I return? YES!
