Arawana Residence Phromphong

The location is good. The room I got is far from reception ,It 4th floor and no lift on the building so the lady change the room for me I got the room was really old but in the building where a have lift. For amenities I don’t get showers gel in the room only shampoo 1 bottle there. When I asked house keeper she said no bottle to put as the guest took it😂. The bathroom cube is broken I take shower but can’t close the cube. Also the weather leaking from the gunshot in restroom. I was accidentally slipped in bathroom 1 time after that I use the bath mat to put in the water area. Only restroom and amenities need to improve but all the things is good.

The location is good, but the hotel is not very new. There was no hot water in my room. There is a specific smell in the hall.

Checked in at 6.30pm on 4th July 2022 after going through peak hour traffic. There were two buildings as expected, but the residence was the underwhelming one. The Wifi connection is strong enough to watch HD Youtube video without lag. The aircon is working but not as cold as expected. Setting it to 16 degrees helped the room cool down to about 25 deg C. The amenities in the room include a fridge, kettle, microwave, electric stove along with basic kitchenware (bowl, plate, frying pan, utensils). There is also a huge 2.2m by 1.5m wardrobe, even though there are only 5 hangers. The main drawback for the 'Residence' building is that it has no lift. Having four storeys, it takes a while to get used to climbing to the top floor. Within the room, the switches were placed dangerously beside the stove and beside the wash basin. There are no switches beside the bed area, causing a minor inconvenience when charging devices. TV had to be unplugged to make space for 2 more power plugs. In the bathroom, the towel holder/rack and tap for water heater was at a 1.9m height, slightly too high for Asians. Despite arranging a room for 3 persons, only 2 pillows were prepared.
