Sukhumvit
Had a very nice stay here. Near to BTS (they also offer free shuttle service to BTS), it also has a lot of well-maintained facilities, such as pool, gym, coworking space, sauna, communal room, restaurant, and more. The helpers here are also kind and well-mannered, one of them named PUP, as he helps me with the porter service and helps me repackage my stuff into a box.

We were not happy with their services of the receptionists and their “Welcome minibar” is really poor but the kind support from a Bellman at the end of our trip helped to recover the whole thing. He helped to book 2 taxis sending us to Don Muong and Suvarnabhumi. I forgot my cellphone in one of the taxi and he quickly supported to get it back for me right before my check in time. Very much appreciate that. He really saved my life.

We stayed on the 29th floor. There is a rooftop bar on 30th floor. On all the nights until late at night, we could hear the music booming from the top floor. It was noisy. But it was overall a good stay. When i stayed there, the hotel was celebrating halloween

Silom/Sathon
A great hotel in Silom for a very reasonable price. The rooms are clean and spacious. Great location. The pool is small. The breakfast is fantastic and there is a really cool bar on the top floor with stunning views of the city and happy hour cocktails. Would definitely stay there again.
Avani Ratchada Bangkok

Ratchadaphisek
Formerly known as Grand Fortune Hotel, the hotel is now part of GHA Discovery Group and has been renamed as Avani. Hotel front desk: helpful but not that quick to respond to request. Need manager’s fielder engagement before giving any upgrade. Room: generally clean. The bathroom door design was really bad as the water leaked. That made the whole bath room wet. The upgraded room was not that impressive while it’s called the Deluxe Skylight room. No hightech facility. All basic. No robots. Restaurant: buffet options were fine. The way the prepare or cook it was not that impressive. Some ingredients - the giant prawns were soft and not as chewy as we expected, they were probably not sourced from the highest quality standard places. The good thing about this hotel it’s near a huge shopping mall Rama 8, and Jodd Fairs, an outdoor night market.
