This hotel has really nice location and access to Khaosan st.
There’s nice pool at 1st floor and actually it was available to smoke. We didn’t order breakfast or any other options so i can’t tell if it was good or bad tho there’s little shops at ground floor and it actually helpful :)
I strongly recommend backpackers to stay here this hotel. I could get nicer service compared to how much i paid for it.

We arrived very early in the morning and they allowed us to check in as early as 10am! We were really happy. There was also a free tuk tuk service which was really convenient. Location wise, although it's in the city, the traffic is the worst. It took us almost 20-30 minutes to go anywhere with a taxi. Advisable to use the train service instead.

The hotel is far from the city center, but it is spacious, clean, and cost-effective.
I stayed 6 nights and there were 3 days when the toilet paper was not relieved. The quality of the cleaning staff is not high.
There was a 7-Eleven nearby and a laundromat a 10 minute walk away.

The Standard Hotel, Bangkok: Not your standard but of exacting exalted standards. I’m a loyalist to Standard Hotel LA Downtown. It has a bit of an irreverent and non-conformist verve - attracting a gamut of characters from the ultra pretentious to the authentically creative or artistic types. It is flashy, LGBT embracing, unapologetic, over the top, form defying, stylish, excessive, extravagant, wanton and bursting with character. Hence it will always be a magnet for characters and drug-fuelled-all-nighter parties but you can expect a scrubbed-clean version in BKK. I flew to Bangkok specifically for the new Standard Hotel - I’ve been dying to check this out. It absolutely doesn’t disappoint. You do get hordes of pretentious IG-ers or alleged annoying influencers doing their 3 hour shoots. But if you got a creative eye like I do and genuinely appreciate solid architecture, offbeat interior styling and intricate art pieces then this place is heaven for you. The style is a mash-up of the most daring and eclectic seemingly mismatched pieces that miraculously come woven together to create a signature style. It is so incredible. There’s no ordinary here - the commanding ceiling art piece outside The Standard Grill restaurant is so technically remarkable I stood there to drink up all the details. It’s so layered here - I feel that the vanity of the superfluous influencers robbed the true meticulous design considerations. I can go at lengths about the styling but I’ll just state that you should deconstruct every element and wow your senses. Everything is modestly sized - pool. Steam room, restaurant, bars, etc. Restaurants are an experience unlike any other - Ojo is mex glam meets Jetson futuristic posh. Tease is a popup fairy tale afternoon tea delight. Mott 32 is chinois haute glam. Standard Grill is tailored classiness. The Parlor is a riot of styles. They are all so exciting. What’s even better is the incredible service. There are some hits and misses but the staff genuinely strive to please. Tina who is busy darting around at the reception, lobby and everywhere is saccharine sweet and effervescent. We nearly missed our flight when the sky emptied and no cabs were found. She so very coolly and humorously handled our mini crisis with such panache, we were so impressed. Look past the superficial influencers or pretentious wannabes. Come and blow your senses out with an experience you should bucket list. #eatstylishtravelstylish

We stayed at the hotel in Bangkok for the first time, and upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Ben, an exceptional staff member. When she found out I was feeling unwell after an early morning flight, she arranged for us to check in before the standard 2 p.m. time. A few days into our stay, she even surprised us with a small treat! The hotel’s environment was peaceful, and the room was cozy. Except that on our first day, the bathroom light was not working and we contacted the staff and they immediately rectified it. The other downside was it was a bit of a walk to the mall and BTS station. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the nearby mall, which is a nice touch.

The daily breakfast offers buffet, à la carte or American options. Staff at the 24-hour front desk speak English and Thai. It feels like my home...just had a luxurious renovation and I'm crazy about it!
I have come to Bangkok every year for the past 15 years to see my family, but due to hotel renovations, I have not stayed at Dusit Thani Bangkok in the past 4 years. Finally coming back this time, it really feels like ”going home”, but this time the ”home” is so high-end that it makes my eyes light up! The hotel now has a stylish feel, with a super modern design but still retains a unique Thai feel. I especially like that they kept the big pillars of the old hotel for display in the lobby, which perfectly blends history and modernity!
Our room was very spacious and full of space, especially suitable for our family of four (two children). The interior design exudes exquisite modern Thai style, full of details and a visual delight. The view out the window was incredible and my daughter was so happy, jumping up and down on the daybed and admiring the view of the city. The swimming pool is also a top-notch enjoyment, with a panoramic view of Bangkok, as if you are in the air. The staff was also very considerate and specially arranged seats for us near the children's pool, which was very attentive and thoughtful.
The breakfast options are very rich, like a global gourmet feast! The children had a great time eating and tried all kinds of delicious food. Our location was right next to a beautiful waterfall installation, which was also a refreshed part of the classic design of the old hotel. The overall stay experience can be said to be impeccable, it is definitely the perfect combination of luxury and comfort. I will definitely come back!

This is a 5 star hotel, so what's not to love. My brother actually lived in this Marriott for 3+ years while he was working in Bangkok, and I visited him 3 times before returning to stay at the hotel again. I stayed in a One Bedroom Executive Suite, and it was only $125 per night. The rooms are big, clean, and having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer is always great. We chilled at the bar by the pool and ordered drinks and food. There is also a great fitness room. The location is great and you can walk to many local restaurants and bars. My brother actually went back to Thailand on vacation and stayed here for 2 months, so obviously he loves the place. I definitely recommend this hotel.
At Ralph Poshtel Pratunam, exceptional service and top-notch amenities create a memorable experience for guests. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was very clean. Although they didn't serve breakfast, there was a hotel close by where you could have an 'eat all you can' breakfast at a very reasonable price. We did need to book a taxi to get to the river for the hop on and hop off boat, but with Grab, that was easy enough. The receptionist at the hotel introduced us to the app Bolt whose fares are cheaper than Grab.

I usually stay in a competitors executive type room with lounge access, when we travel twice a year but decided to try JW Marriott this time. Everything was pretty good and of a high standard, however I won’t return. I personally think the other offerings in this class and price of hotels are better. The staff in the lounge try to assist customers but it didn’t feel authentic to us, the staff in the downstairs cafe, lobby lounge, Manhattan bar, all felt much more genuine to us and our kids. It’s hard to put my finger on it, but the other executive rooms and lounges in other hotels are just better, and also one of the staff made a comment about businessmen in the hotel which I didn’t like. I’m a businessman but I come to Bkk for a vacation with my family, it was a badly worded comment to make to my wife and kids and totally out place, considering some things we saw at night.

GGuest UserGreat hotel and great staff. We were well looked after by concierge Pai and his guys, and the cleaning, pool and front desk staff were all competent, friendly and helpful. My wife lost her phone and they found it for her; it rained and they had umbrellas for us and helped book taxies and Grab cars. The hotel is very new and the room was super modern and very well decorated, with a big new TV and great amenities. The bed was superb and the pillows were to die for. We were there for a week and this was one of the best hotel stays we have had in recent times and I highly recommend it. This is a very well-run hotel so I commend management as well. It does the Marriott group proud. Also, location is great just minutes from Asok BTS and MRT. Lots of food options on this Soi 20, as well as Soi's 22 and 18
CChoo TiongWe have celebrated our anniversary at the hotel.
The service of the hotel was excellent and the cleanliness was good too. The location of the hotel also quite convenient as it is next to MBK and also within walking distance to BTS. We enjoy the breakfast too.
We will definitely be back again.
GGuest UserIn my opinion this is a great short stay for lovers of art and design. It’s filled with lush things to look at and soak in. Room was lovely and clean with a funky design and reliable wifi. Staff were all great as well. I think this is best for a short stay as the location wasn’t particularly pleasant for walkability and getting out and about sight seeing. If you’re spending a bit of time in Bangkok with the view to seeing a lot, the location is a weak point. The art classes and spin classes looked great but I didn’t get a chance to try anything out. Everything is a bit pricey, and I think their beautiful rooftop and restaurant would be filled up more if it wasn’t so much. I found the menu a bit limited given how little alternatives are around the hotel. Happy hour on the roof is worth the trip though!
SSG 84Pros:
- 15-20min from Don Meung airport
- Great variety of breakfast
- Many restaurants near by
Cons:
- Bad soundproofing. When someone raise their voice at the corridor, i can hear it in the room.
- The music at the lobby is not welcoming and unsettling.
- no hooks for clothing in toilet and no toiletries rack in shower area
Take Note:
- the lobby is at second level, we are not sure whether there is a lift
- deposit of 1000 baht for key card, it costs even more than the room
- toothbrush and toothpaste can be purchased at reception
- staff needs to check room upon check out, so if you are catching a flight, please allow 10-15min for the room check.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for two nights while we were in Bangkok. The building is very nice and clean, our room was very well laid out. Roof top pool was nice as was the buffet breakfast. Good location with lots of places within walking distance or easy access to taxis and Tuk Tuks. Best part was the staff, friendly and professional service. Special thanks to front desk staff member Sawassakorn. He helped us out with taxis around the city, a local restaurant and arranged for a car to drive us to the airport.
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!
AAndrewTanthe hotel is at good location, walking distance to mrt and siam mall. However, the hotel need to improve their soundproof, I can hear the people walking passby the room, talking outside of the room and etc.
SSleepingbaby SawEnjoyed my stay in Hotel Furama Silom from 30th April 24 to 4th May 24. The room size and the bathroom are spacious, they also provide big bottles of Shower lotion and Shampoo with nice fragrance. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi decent and Air-con was good and cold.
Very good location and the transportation to Central World is very convenient. Close to 7-eleven just 2 doors down from the hotel. Overall, great value for money.
GGuest UserWhile the photos look great and the rooms were clean and fresh the approach is very daunting you walk down a narrow graffiti alley for almost 1 minute past garbage bins ,discarded trolleys, construction and just when you are sure you are in the wrong place you see the glass doors with the words ADAMAZ hotel engraved upon their tinted surfaces. We arrived during the day but had it been a late night arrival I would never have walked to the end. If first impressions matter to you then this is not the place for you. Once inside rooms were comfortable and staff were helpful -
GGuest User5 of 5 I love the location close to BTS and MRT, great place and convenient. Good for single and families, close to all the action and terminal 21 mall. It is brand the I Check through out Thailand. Rooms are good size and clean. Staff are polite and helpful, there are 24 hour front desk.
