The room is relatively spacious compared to similar hotels domestically. The hotel staff provide excellent service, although their English is somewhat Thai-accented, making it a bit hard to understand, but overall communication is not affected. Additionally, two coffee vouchers are given daily, which can be exchanged for coffee or tea at the lobby coffee cart. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel rooms, but a smoking area is specifically designated on the 11th floor balcony, which still offers a great view. Downstairs are a 7-Eleven and a shopping mall, with the mall directly connected to the subway station, which resembles a bunker-like structure. Convenience is top-notch. Adjacent to the hotel is Chulalongkorn University, Thailand's top-ranked university.

Beautiful hotel with good service . There are couple minor issues need pay attention . 1. Air conditioning shut off suddenly and ask for Engineer to fix it , he is good and fast 2. Somehow the air con turn off automatically from mid night to next morning until we turn it on again . It’s wired 3. No extra toilet paper reserve in bathroom if we didn’t want room clean service for 2 days . After that everything is good ! People are very polite and helpful

Room is clean, bed is comfortable, counter serviced is good and polite (glad can communicate with English), cleaner also good🙏🏻 Room has full length mirror is a bonus to me. And surprise that the toilet has bidet! But the WiFi sometimes is unstable. Near walk distance to Samyan station but have to cross the road with a lot cars 🥲 Good location, easy to go anywhere. Overall I recommend this hotel 👍🏻 would come again if got chance.

A 2nd time stay in this hotel. Beautiful and cosy. Easy to check in and check out. Laundry service located at 7th floor. Likewise, for morning breakfast. Breakfast is normal, not much variety, though. Especially on pastries wise. Easily accessible to Macdonald, which is just next door and opens till 2am and there is a small mobile cafe - CPS in front of the hotel plus an ATM machine located nearby too. Satisfied with the hotel, worth the penny! Will come back for sure!

The place is clean, the bathroom is clean. The place is convenient, not far from the MRT and the road to connect to a taxi. The room is beautiful, bright, the amenities look good, suitable for the price.

Served daily in the hotel’s restaurant, it featured a variety of both Western and Asian options, including fresh fruits, pastries, bread, and even street food-inspired dishes like pad Thai and tom yum soup. It was filling and delicious, setting a great start to each day. I also appreciated the convenience of having an on-site便利店 (convenience store) and a 24-hour security desk, which adds a sense of safety and ease for solo travelers like myself. While no stay is perfect, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The corridor leading to my room could have been cleaner, and there was some noise from the street outside during peak hours. However, these are relatively small issues that didn’t detract significantly from my overall experience. In conclusion, Red Planet Bangkok Surawong offers great value for its price point, with a central location, comfortable rooms, and excellent service. It’s a fantastic option for travelers looking to explore Bangkok without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thailand’s vibrant capital city!

Overall the hotel is in a good location away from the busy streets and the breakfast is good. Pool is weird location being in the middle of the lobby, breakfast and gym area. The rooms themselves are good HOWEVER, the hotel seems to have zero soundproofing, we could hear the room 5 doors up very clearly and they were only talking. Anyone walking past you can hear them so loudly. So this reason we don’t stay at this hotel again because the point is to be able to sleep and this we could not with ear plugs.

The hotel is nice, not too far from different attractions. You can get a car or Tuk Tuk right in front of the hotel or use a hail riding app like grab for convenience. The Lawson downstairs is quite convenient and the staff are really nice. We enjoyed our stay and are glad we booked here. They offer different activity packages to book and a shuttle service for an additional cost. Overall the hotel is nice, we did not get to enjoy the pool because it was too cold and we did not have the opportunity to enjoy it with sun. The spa 100/100 the traditional Thai massage was great and worth every cent.

Location wise, it's a little walk from the nearest BTS station(sala daeng). But for those who likes street food, there is a lot of em around. Room itself can see that its kinda aged actually.
