I stayed in this hotel on December 2022 for two nights on Christmas day with one of my girlfriends. Unfortunately, the hotel was not able to accommodate our twin bed request, but they assigned a non-smoking room for us. Check-in was swift and all the staffs are helpful. During the stay, we requested multiple items like hair dryer, iron , ironing board and safety locker. The staff delivered each item without any hesitation and I am unsure about the guy's name but he is North Eastern and bold. He was indeed a gem. However, the room does not include a 24/7 hot water supply, hence, if you are a person who loves to shower at random hours like me, may find it a little uncomfortable. Our stay was short but we still wanted to have a road trip to Mysore and the FO person by the name Saravanan arrange the day-tour for us. It was easy, reasonable priced and we got a good driver. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk away from Trinity Metro Train station, close by to a coffee place, pizza hut and 10 minutes to G***da Mall. Overall, its a good stay and I won't think twice to stay here again..

I'll start with a massive thank you to all the staffs of Olive Magrath particularly Anurag, Pavithra, Albin & Roshan. These individuals have portrayed such great hospitality and service level beyond excellence throughout my stay in Olive. Indeed a blessing to Embassy group for having them. This is my 2nd round of stay in the bustling city of Bangalore. Situated right in the heart of Bangalore, Olive is definitely my first choice amongst some other accommodations I've stayed in during my month long trip here. Equipped with all the basic necessities such as the TV, AC, water heater, WiFi and etc, Olive also offers a complete set up of meeting hall, private meeting room, and a game room which caters to my work needs. The location is so strategic that everything is just within minutes of walking distances. As I'm travelling solo away from my home country, I will always factor in 2 considerations when it comes to my choice of accommodation. Cleanliness & Feeling-at-home. From the front doorway to my room, the entire vicinity is always well maintained and clean at the best level. To my best understanding, Olive Magrath is always fully booked and occupied but they are still able to keep the cleanliness level with that ***y visitors in and out of the area. Perfect. Being away from home for a long period is indeed challenging but coming back to Olive after a hectic day of work had somehow filled a portion of that ”loneliness” in me, if you get what I'm saying. Those greetings with huge smiles have definitely made me feel a sense of belonging. A highly recommended choice of stay for everyone! Well, please pardon me for being long-winded in my review but I felt the need to properly complement Olive for making my stay here a memorable and remarkable one. Overall, it’s quite good. The location is in the center of Bangalore. The facilities are able to catch up with the home. The service is very good. It is very polite from the front desk to the waiter and can speak English. This is very important. Later I went. New Delhi and Gujarat, room service does not know English, and I repeat it in Hindi. It is not too bad... Health is not bad, just like home, you need to mention that the bed in the double room is very small. It’s probably the width of the domestic sofa, and there are some windows that can’t be opened, and the house smells bad.

The property is located in the lane right next to the G***da mall and looks pretty decent from the outside, also has some parking space. The stay was for about 7 days in room#4403, room was comfortable and clean, with satisfactory house-keeping. However, there are a number of other minor things that actually became a bother on a few occasions, such as 1. The AC was too noisy which caused a disturbed sleep 2. The shower console did not have a door (broken??) and the ***y of the faucets were blocked/jammed, would prefer a simple faucet and shower instead of a semi-functional fancy shower console. 3. Found some of the towels and bed-sheet to be worn out and torn. 4. Though clean, the wooden furniture need varnishing as they are stained with all kinds of marks all over. Perhaps the biggest overhaul that is required is in the restaurant & room service area. The menu at the restaurant is not adequate (very limited options) and the food quality average. The breakfast spread needs to improve, with adequate supply of the items (on multiple occasions found the breakfast items to be short), the tea cups need to be changed as most of them are cracked and chipped. The room service also needs to improve.....once my dinner was sent to a different room, I had to call and inquire and only then it was sent to my room after more than 1 hr from placing the order. The last piece was at the time of check-out....they didn't have a POS machine....had to go all the way to an ATM to get cash and make the payment.....that is primitive!!! The only plus points are the cleanliness (good housekeeping) and the location (proximity to my work place), which will probably make to take a second dig at this place.
