What a charming little place and amazing value for money. Lovely people and service. However I would have been happy to pay a lot more if we had hot water in the shower and air conditioning which worked. The pool was nice but a few chairs around the pool would have been better. However I repeat for the price it was very very good.

This hotel is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It has a large well maintained garden. The swimming pool was also very nice. The room was very spacious with a double bed and single bed. There was also AC, TV and small fridge. There is a kettle and tea mugs to make tea/coffee in the room. However, I would recommend you bring your own supplies for it. The bathroom is also spacious. There were some little issues here and there indicating lack of maintenance. However, it was perfectly clean and still functional. The restaurant is outdoor type. Western food is pricey (as in all hotels) but the local food was quite cheap - which was a relief as the hotel is quite far away from town. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a nice cottage, the pool, the staff and the food were great. Can recommend it! Also there is the possibility to make nice walks in the neighbourhood. Very quiet and rural. It is a bit apart from the main road

We stayed at Coco Village while visiting the Anawilundawa Bird Sanctuary. The property was well kept and the staff were very friendly and helpful. While it's further from Anawilundawa than some other places, a bonus was the Bombiwila wetland/lake very close by that had much of the same bird life as the sanctuary.

Such a quiet peaceful place, you totally enjoy all the nature around in a comfortable and modern bungalow. Everything is made with simple way and even better than the photos. New bedding and towels. There is also an electric boiler, mini bar. recommend to stay on your way to Sigiriya or Dambulla

We arrived during the wedding season, so the hotel was busy with colourful local weddings all around us. It was very special to see. Unfortunately the staff seemed overwhelmed. Sri Lanka is the friendliest place on earth, but Coco Village was the least welcoming place we stayed. We found our chalet had no wi-fi, and it took several phone calls and the intervention of our guide before it finally worked on our last day. We felt fobbed off by the resort staff who passed us around and made excuses. Perhaps because of language problems. There were lots of mosquitos, but the diffuser did work. I think mossy nets would be a good idea. The bathroom needed maintenance. We had no hot water, although that's not much of a problem in the lovely Sri Lankan temperature. So why 4 stars? Well, as other reviews say, the chalets are comfortable, the gardens and surroundings are gorgeous. Best of all is the food. It was superb, with very good service. And we loved the weddings.

Nice and calm environment. Uou watch birds in the near by area. Friendly staff. AC rooms. Have satellite TV in rooms but not many international channels available. Room cost is low. Food is average. The property seems be lacking maintenance. The hot water was not working in the room. There are lots of mosquitos in surrounding so it difficult to be out in the night without a repellent applied. Rooms have vaporizers but some of them are not working. There are lots of stray dogs running around. Not suitable for small children. No high chairs or cots are there. Towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner is provided. Most of the outdoor is need better maintenance. Can be improved greatly.

Plus: Toller Garten, hier kann man viele Vögel und Schmetterlinge beobachten, das Hotel liegt abseits der Hauptstraße, sodass man auch mal schön in der Umgebung spazieren kann, das Abendessen im Restaurant war wirklich lecker, es gab typisch Rice & Curry Minus: Zimmer dringend renovierungsbedürftig und könnten besser gereinigt werden. Pool war gekippt, Fotos der Zimmer veraltet, das Personal war etwas zäh
