Bang Saphan Hotels with Bars

We stayed at the Baan Grood Arcadia for 4 nights and we wished we stayed much longer! This place is a gem! The standard of quality is surprisingly high and pleasant. Bungalows are very spacious, well furnished, very comfortable and above all, CLEAN as a whistle! The surroundings are manucured and very well maintained. The pool is perfect! Sqweaky clean! And a pristine beach is waiting for you right across the street! The breakfast are plentifull with a choice of asian and western foods. The food at the restaurant is very very good, everything we had on the menu for dinner was fresh, tasty and well presented. Seafood salad is one of the best I've had! The staff may seem a little distant but it's mostly due to the language barrier. Remember you are in southern Thailand, please don't expect everybody to be fluent in English... All in all, we'd go back in a heartbeat, as a matter of fact, we will go back!!!

Me and two friends did a roadtrip from Bangkok to Phuket and decided to stay the night at The theatre villa. When we arrived, a bit late, but were warmly welcomed. The food was excellent, as was the breakfast with homemade bread and eggs picked from free roaming chickens in the garden. We rented the family room with a single bed and a bunk bed. We are all pretty tall, but all beds were plenty large. The room was not very large, but contained a fridge, tv and had a bathroom with shower. A nice ocean view was visible from the balcony. In the morning we went down to the nice beach which is located just beneath the Villa. The beach connects to a few restaurants and pleasant bars. We only stayed for one night but I highly recommend it.

We arrived after a close to 500km drive from Phuket. The hotel , at the end of a 1 km somewhat deserted road and just a few feet from an endless quiet white sand beach looks like a very small redish building. We parked in a 6 car informal parking and walked to the counter. A lady gave us our breakfast vouchers and tickets exchangeable for returnable beach towel without hesitation. We sadly were the only customers that night thanks to Covid. Inside is a large circular garden with a big swimming basin à Jaccuzzi and areas to play in the water surrounded by the buildings with the rooms and a 2 story structure where the restaurants are. Our room : a “family cottage”was not a cottage But a room atop 4 steps next to another similar room to form a house. And all rooms around the property seemed to be laid out as such. Our lodging consisted of a first room with on the left a make shift bed 20 cm from the floor constructed with a raised board box with a 4 inches mattress open on the near and right side and wall on the other two - a hell of a treat to get in and out - a desk, a window to a small terrace with no view, another small room with two bunk beds and a storage under half of one of the bed, a 2.5 sq meter shower room and a separate toilet with a tiny sailboat type WC. A small fridge under the desk and a ratan arm chair completed the scenery. Materials used kind of Thai traditional wood dyed dark and straw. Contrary to agency advertisement : no bathtub, no cable TV - had 2 chanels France 24 in English and France 24 in French. AC worked well and was quiet and water pressure was excellent. Place was clean but small and dark even with the blind open. To complete the disappointment the restaurants were closed and under renovation, the garden was also under renovation with trees being cut off. We were able to eat in a ground floor bar structure with an extensive menu. The food was good and priced ok for a hotel. The bar also served cocktails and drinks. Service was friendly. Waiters had to go accross the garden and up to the second floor (Thai or US second floor- French 1st floor) of the restaurant to get the food.... which arrived tepid with a saran wrap on top to keep it hygienic Breakfast was served the same way. No more buffet due to the virus. Except for fresh orange juice it was extremely mediocre. Industrial white bread tinned ham and sausage.... so-so coffee. Our disappointment came because we paid per day more than we had just paid in Phuket in a 5 star hotel with a 55 sq meter modern room, unlimited access to club lounge with soft drinks all day afternoon tea and evening unlimited cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast with the best hotel cooked breads and viennoiseries all this for 12 guests - 6 rooms occupied in a 250 room property. Of course right on the Adaman sea beach. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war ausgesprochen angenehm. Der Empfang gestaltete sich sehr herzlich. Und diese Herzlichkeit setzte sich die ganzen zwei Wochen fort. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Küche plus Bedienungspersonal. Auch das Housekeeping-Team und die Gärtner machen einen tollen Job. Ich kann das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder da wohnen, wenn ich in der Nähe bin.

I went to this resort with my family last November. There is a swimming pool. and next to the sea There is a buffet breakfast, which includes boiled rice, fried rice, omelettes, etc. The night air here is very pleasant for a walk. There was a gentle wind blowing from the sea. cool weather As for the room, it's very clean. There is a cool air conditioner to sleep comfortably. spacious room The bathroom has a water heater. There is good privacy here. And I really like the ice cream here. especially the strawberry flavor It's sweet and has a bit of strawberry flesh. It's delicious. If there is a chance, I will visit again.

Le site de cet hôtel est exceptionnel, très vaste, au milieu de nombreuses et diverses plantes et arbres tous plus beaux les uns que les autres. Les bungalows sont superbes et très confortables, dotés de belles et grandes terrasses. Les salles de bains intérieures / extérieures sont incroyables également. Le tout au bord de la plage, piscine très agréable où l'on se repose en entendant les bruits de la mer (il y a juste une petite route à traverser avec quasiment aucune circulation et l'où les pieds dans le sable). L' accueil de ce lieu est exceptionnel, tout le monde est très gentil et la responsable très efficace et toujours là pour rendre service, parle très bien l'anglais. Bon petit déjeuner avec vue sur mer là aussi. Endroit très calme, accès facile au village en vélo ou scooter dispo à l'hôtel ainsi que taxis. Vraiment un lieu où l'on retournera avec plaisir surtout que Bankhrut est encore préservé de l'invasion touristique, le marché de nuit y est super !

It's very easy to navigate, even navigation is not good, you can't get in at the door, just a little round. Like the name of the store, it has a fate with Buddha, a fate with the store, and a fate with the sea!
