It was only for one night, but it's OK. I miss a pool for longer stay. The reception was no longer occupied than we arrived there at 20:30, the room keys were on the reception venue and on a sign, unfortunately only in Thai, to call the telephone number. Fortunately, my wife is Thai and could quickly clear everything with the lady on the phone and we knew what our room key is. The bed might need a new mattress, but it was ok. All in everything for one night okay.

We stayed one night at Morning Hotel. The hotel style reminds me of a Thai Holiday Inn Express, looking so new and super clean and with a similar layout and look. Our room was spartan but decor was really nice with wood look floor and a nice floor lamp to add coziness. The shelving arrangement affords lots of storage space for luggage and to arrange your clothes. Fridge with free water There is no safe. The bed is quite firm and only afterwards did I see another reviewer mentions that staff provided a comforter to make the bed softer. No hot water making in the room, however there is a kitchen for the guests to use downstairs with complimentary tea, coffee, toast, and a micro wave. The owner’s daughter was very kind and helpful to us. She gave us 2 great restaurant recommendations that we loved and are within 1km of the hotel. Currently both these restaurants are not listed on TripAdvisor, but the are clearly popular with locals - thus hidden gems and we did not see foreigners at these restaurants which added to the experience! Lunch - Phan Thai Jai Yen Yen Very famous restaurant chef in the area. Many foreign chefs visit his restaurant - Only open till 16:00hrs so best for lunch Dinner - Krua Nong Michelin award restaurant famous for soft shell crab - Open till around 21:00 or so

We stayed 2 nights at the Khao Sok Country Resort which turned out a smart and convenient decision. We toured Khao Sok National Park which was literally a 1 minute car ride from this Resort which provided for easy and quick access from our lodge. Our room itself was only 500 THB per night which we only spent time there for the evening and sleep. The wifi was good, the shower warm, and air con very efficient. Plus we found the bed incredibly comfortable. Overall, this was a high value and high efficient stay which we're gladly do again.

Because I wasn't familiar with the place, I booked this crappy hotel. It’s really a bird’s eye view, 100 kilometers away from Phuket. It's like you go to Beijing to play and you live in Tianjin. There are still more than 20 kilometers away from the slightly livelier town. There is no entertainment except eating and walking in the hotel. You know the standard of hotel restaurants, they are not delicious. What are the comings and goings of breakfast? 90% of the guests are foreigners. On the first day I checked in, the front desk (male) had a bad attitude and licked the European and American guests next to me. I obviously ordered a double bed, but they arranged a twin bed for me. They also said that their double beds were pushed together. I immediately complained and applied to cancel the order, and they changed me to a double bed the next day. The hotel's hardware is actually pretty good, but it's too remote. You can watch the sunset on the hotel's beach, and there is a local village next to it. If you like to stay away from the hustle and bustle➕don’t want to see Chinese compatriots➕like to be bored and dazed, then you can choose here.

This is 2nd time to stay at Le Meridien Khao Lak and always good to be back. Thank you so much to upgrade my room to deluxe room 1215 that is closed to the beach. The room is very tidy and clean. Both Receptionist and Bellman are helpful and friendly. Especially, Khun Ing at The Nest restaurant, she comes to talk and recommends us great foods for dinner. Huge, beautiful property with all the amenities you could want in a resort. Spacious, modern and luxurious rooms, a rock climbing wall, basketball and tennis courts, games rooms, multiple restaurants, swimming pools, kids club and even a mini water park for the kids. The best place we've stayed in Thailand! The reasons: • Incredible setting, surrounded by the jungle, limestone cliffs and a turquoise river that runs through the accomodation. • Outstanding staff! ❤️ The staff was just next level here, attentive, kind, willing to help or just have a chat. We felt like part of the group here, like actual guests not just tourists. • Khao Sok activities: Within the accomodation they can find activities for you to do. • Food! The local food was delicious at their restaurant. • The treehouses are adorable, clean and comfortable and sleeping with the jungle sounds at night was definitely a highlight! Thank you everyone at Art's for making our stay so special, we will definitely come back :)

Mixed impressions. On the one hand there are a lot of things to do - especially for kids (Minigolf, two playsides, pool) on the other hand it is a strange Areal with lots of construction works and the name “rainforest” is a joke. There is literally no shadow on the whole area. Around there is rainforest (and lots of monkeys :) but on the hotel area there is only heat. And in our pool view room it was very loud - walls are like paper and the pool is used till late night. May be much better in a bungalow. And to be fair: there is music which kind of makes the windows shake, but it’s from the bars in town. You’ll have it in a lot of hotels that are central. But they try their best to be friendly and to support you. We had to move out after one night because of the loudness but came back for the playground (one is with a roof above). Last negative: breakfast is awful. Only pancakes eatable.
