This was an apartment type room, complete with bedrooms in the bottom level and kitchenette and living room in the top level. Location was most convenient just 5 min drive from town center. You could walk or take the free shuttle service. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was fully booked as it was peak season. We travelled with elderly and they kindly changed from a room with stairs to one that is on the flat. Hot tub facility is good. Walk to city centre 850m away or u could use the bus ticket that comes with the stay. Enjoyed the stay.

Reasonable stay, a little far out from Banff but good public transport close by. Free parking at the rear of the property, a big bonus but parking is available in the underground carpark. Expensive for what was provided. Apartment well fitted out and everything required for the stay is provided, but the most critical item, the safe, was not working, meaning that we had to take passports, cards and cash with us throughout our stay in Banff. Regretfully disappointed with poor sleep throughout the stay, the sound proofing is exceptionally poor, especially from overhead apartments, with wooden floors creaking badly and every footstep clearly heard. Interconnecting doors had poor soundproofing, every sound and talking were clearly heard. Apprciate that the building is timber, but there are numerous ways to improve the soundproofing, but at a commercial cost. Bring a good set of ear plugs, they are essential for sleep. Train leaves the station or passes through Banff at 5.40 every morning, and the driver loves to use his horn on every occasion, no need for an alarm clock!!

The hotel was very old but the layout and setting it was very good. There is a hot tub in the middle but chlorine smell was very strong, wouldn’t recommend any kids or young baby to go in. The hotel smells like cigarette everywhere, including in the bedroom. Wouldn’t go there again.

Our stay was wonderful w the exception of 2 things: 1: The bedding was super thin (just a sheet and thin blanket) and I froze half the night, wearing my winter coat as a blanket...even w the heat cranked up. For the price, I expected to be comfortable. There were no extra blankets in our 1 bedroom, 2 floor suite. 2: Dogs r allowed at the hotel which I am ok w BUT we were woken up at 6 am by a large dog staying above us who was FREAKING OUT and barking constantly like it was trying to attack something or someone and my 6 year old is TERRIFIED of dogs! We had no choice but to leave our hotel room early in the morning to escape the dog's constant barking and when checking out, didn't even get so much as an apology from the staff when telling them why we were forced out of our room at 6:30am on our 15 year anniversary/my birthday. I wasn't expecting much but we were only there for 1 night and felt a little robbed of our stay and our little girl was traumatized by waking up to dogs that sounded like they were coming through our floor to attack us!!! If u r going to leave your dogs in a hotel alone, ensure they aren't going to freak out the entire time u r gone!!!! A very disappointing stay at our most favorite hotel!!!!

The hotel is in Banff town, about 10 minutes away from the commercial street, within walking distance. The room is not big, and the air conditioner can't cool. The hotel deducted the deposit inexplicably, the service is average, and no one helps with the luggage. The cave hot spring is unique, and it is very comfortable to take a bath.

The most expensive hotel on this trip, the experience was disappointing. (Because summer is the peak season in Banff, it is difficult to book) I prepared myself mentally beforehand, after all, it is a small town~ An older hotel, small rooms, air conditioning is equivalent to no cooling, it was still very hot when we arrived, and we couldn’t sleep at night... The hygiene and bedding are OK! The location is OK, near the edge of the main street, the advantage is that it is relatively quiet, but it takes more than 15 minutes to walk to the shopping area The hotel’s own semi-open-air basement hot spring is a plus!

We booked a twin suite. Upstairs is a small restaurant kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and bread machine. Downstairs is a bathroom and bedroom. The hotel has a hot spring. We asked the front desk how to take the bus and they gave us a three-day bus ticket. There is a bus stop at the door of the hotel.

The hot springs are very unique and the kids love them. It’s a pity that there is no buffet breakfast.

The most expensive hotel with the worst experience. The room was on the first floor. There was no air conditioning and there were bugs.
