This is a magical place to stay. Coupled with a safari where we saw a leopard stalking deer, lots of elephants, a mongoose, and multiple birds and other animals, I was an experience I will not forget. I loved the accommodation, which is in keeping with the environment. The food was great and the buffet style meant you can choose from a wide selection. Swimming in the pool early in the morning as the sun came up was very special.

We stayed here during our family holiday, and let’s just say it was an experience I wouldn’t recommend to any. The rooms were fnot well maintained and clean, they had a unique bad aroma. Oh, and there were plenty of lizard droppings to remind you that you're really living in the wild. The towels were old, dusty, The bathroom walls had what appeared to be a new species of black mold, and the fixtures? Falling apart faster than my hope of ever having a relaxing holiday. Now, I get it — rustic is a thing. But this wasn’t rustic; this was more like "we forgot to clean anything. " The pathways between rooms and the main block were less "charming and more "nature’s reclamation project. And don’t even get me started on the price. The rooms cost more than my last vacation… and that one actually had walls that stayed up. The swimming pool was just a giant puddle of disappointment, But, hey, on the bright side, the food was surprisingly good! It was tasty and traditional — the only thing at the resort that didn’t make me want to cry. The restaurant was a cozy, rustic affair, though it doubled as a petting zoo. Cats and insects roamed freely, like they owned the place, and the staff seemed to be on a let them be campaign. So if you're looking for a wild experience in Bandhipur, this resort might just be for you — just make sure you bring your own towels and maybe some insect repellent!

We stayed at this hotel for two days in November 2024, and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. While the room itself was acceptable in terms of category and size, the food and service were far below expectations. Food: The quality of food was particularly disappointing. The taste was consistently poor, and the variety was very limited. In two days, we had six meals, yet we were not provided with basic options like ice cream for kids or hot milk, even upon request. The overall food quality was subpar, and the service was slow and unresponsive, which made our dining experience quite unpleasant. Service: The service overall was very poor. Despite asking for basic items multiple times, they were either delayed or not provided at all. We found it difficult to understand how other guests could give such positive feedback, especially in light of our experience. Location: On the positive side, this hotel is the only option available for those looking to explore the wildlife and the surrounding hills of Bandipur, as there are no other resorts nearby. If your primary purpose is to explore the animals and the region, this hotel may be a suitable choice due to its location. Recommendation: However, if you prioritize a comfortable stay and quality food, we strongly recommend looking for other options. While the hotel is convenient for exploring Bandipur's wildlife, the experience may not be worth the cost if comfort and quality service are important to you.

An awesome resort with good rooms. And food, that was more than awesome. Chef Mahesh is such a nice person and even a better chef, we all liked the food a lot. Each and every item on the menu was mouth watering. The tandoori roti, that was the best I have ever had. Thanks a lot to Mahesh for wonderful hospitality. Would be visiting again with family some time

I stayed here as part of a tour group. It was by far the worst hotel on our itinerary. The rooms smelled horrendous, like something had died there. The towels were filthy and the bathroom walls had black mould on them. Fixtures were dilapidated and falling apart. Outside, the paths between the rooms and the main block were wet, uneven and badly lit. Having seen the price of the rooms, I'm astonished that they would dare charge so much for such a truly dreadful experience. And the photos used here are clearly about 20 years old, as the place certainly does not look like that now. I notice that for each bad review here, the management writes a copious response promising to do better. These promises go back for years, and obviously have not been acted on.

A Resort in the midst of sprawling greens. Well conceived cottages with all amenities. Bathroom fittings needs repair/change. Food quality and quantity in surplus. Service by Subramanyam and Surya in the dining areas was superb. Very courteous, friendly, smiling and ready to help staff.

We stayed at this property in third week of February for 2 nights. We stayed in a cottage which is located in what they call as "new property" which is around 500m from the original one. Just an average stay. Room size is big but i seriously feel that the property needs some major upkeep. The upholstery is worn out. There's no room service in this new property. In the restaurant, food is ok but i had to literally spend few minutes to find a bowl which is free of stains. One good thing was that you get to see deers moving around in the property. The place is littered with cow dung so one has to be very watchful while walking.

A well located wildlife resort with excellent naturalists , nature walks, birdlife, but property needs a lot of upkeep and staff not attentive enough. The game drives being controlled online by govt or last minute rush has become a big uncertainity for international quality wildlife enthusiats. Rooms need more maintenance. Food should have more international cuisine options. Front office briefing for international FIT guets is inadequate.
