Excellent Resort, away from the city rush. The rooms and Bathrooms are clean, Jaya ji at the reception was always helpful. Overall we had a 3 night pleasant stay, with a beautiful view.

You approach Ooty after a drive through a nature reserve, and up 36 very steep hairpin bends: the town is approximately 2,700m above sea level. The hotel feels like a step into a colonial past: think a very smart version of Portmerion. The weather was kind to us: beautifully sunny and warm, so you could enjoy the grounds (it can get cold and wet up here). The rooms are simple but beautiful and ours had a fire place which we were encouraged to light (it was too warm the night we were there). The complex was quiet, so the restaurant and bar were a bit echo-ey. However, no criticism: the staff were attentive, and the food and drinks where of good quality. It is pet-friendly, and a couple of dogs were certainly enjoying their romp around the garden. They light a garden bonfire at 7pm for those wanting to sit outside: we chickened out and went to dinner instead. It's a wonderful place to stay and wind down: there isn't a great deal to do around Ooty (and we can ***ager it in a day), but it's a very relaxing environment. We loved it!

A cute little homely place with just 4 rooms, all neatly done up. Very good for a large family. The food quality is very good however the service was just ok in the absence of the regular serving staff. The sleep quality was average since light seeps in from the high ventilators which should either be covered or provided with dark glass shields. Mr Nagaraj, at front office was a outstanding ,all round multi tasking gentlemen who inspite of his age and physical limitation made us feel at home. He really looked after us very well during our 03 nights stay. Overall a satisfying stay. A suggestion.....Doormats be provided in front of every rooms.
