Our stay at this motel was wonderful, and the rooms were tidy. New flooring has been installed in the remodeled rooms. Although not refurbished, bathrooms are immaculate and equipped with all the necessities. I was surprised to learn that they had a 75-inch TV, and I really appreciated seeing the movie on a large screen. It was awesome that the comforters were personalized with their logo, which stands for cowboy capital. Well worth the time spent.

Unfriendly check-in.
Hot water greatly restricted so a warm shower was all you could hope for. A huge disgusting rip-off

Man at check in very rude and breakfast attendant definitely did not want to be there. Do not expect a good hot breakfast.

It was clean and had everything we needed except pillows would be better though. The 2 pillows provided were very flat. Shower was hard to turn on.

The town of Bandera is absolutely amazing. If 5 Star Lodging, Continental Breakfast and On Site Amenities (gym, spa, restaurant, store, etc) are not your hot buttons; but you enjoy a nice, clean, cozy place for a good price, this is the place to stay. Easy Parking (by your door), friendly staff, close to everything you need in town. We’ll definitely visit River Oak Inn again.

Booking the room was really easy, there was no one at the feont desk to check us in. The bathroom mirror was upgraded but the tub was disgusting. Not money well spent. Parking in the back was terrible due ti the restaurant.
