Wonderful place. Ski in ski out great facilities for skiing and socialising too. Pyjamas provided and a wonderful foyer. Staff were friendly and helpful some spoke good English. Onsen was really good and had a large heated pool attached. Bar was mainly sake but had a beer vending machine nearby. Buffet breakfast was ok but runny scrambled eggs sausages and bacon none of which was very warm more like luke warm. However could switch breakfast for a lunch pass which was awesome and the pork cutlet curry and rice was great.

Great room large suite overlooking snowfields. Service and staff very helpful. Food is 5 star just amazing. Little things like free miso soup and beer tasting and cultural talks add to the whole experience. Onsen is bliss after a day on the slopes.

Excellent hospitality, that I’ll rate 5stars, great food, great place to be with family and furkid. We stayed for 4nights 5days at “pet ok” room. Spacious, clean, good dog’s amenities. (Newspapers, Poo bags, wet wipes, 2 towels, roller etc) during the lunch time, plenty of choices for lunch at the ski area. Superb ski/snowboarding deals for family with small children/elementary children. I didn’t use the swimming pool but was told by other family friends they’ve enjoyed the facility. Daily happy hour which is not bad, relaxing and trying the complimentary sake, (Every night the same type) or draft beer or fruit juice. Some local performances, which guests gladly join together. Now, the downside of the resort, it is not meant for people with disabilities. We were well aware of the room situation. (A step up to the bathroom) nevertheless, to get to the restaurant or the sake bar, we required staffs to help my husband on the wheelchair up and down the staircases. This, were never mentioned during the bookings. When we arrived, the ramp from the lobby pick up drop off area was covered in thick snow. Again the staffs picking up my husband to get to the lobby. I can see the whole resort may need refurbishment, the carpets, the ceiling right above the lobby, sake bar needed tlc due to mold. Can Hoshino resort refurbish this resort with accessibility plan in mind? It is 2023, and for country like Japan, it is a pity to be so narrow minded and far back in terms of accessibility and inclusion. I’ve seen a person, probably injured during skiing or snowboarding, was partially on the wheelchair and he used crutches, using the staircases for restaurant access. Wheelchair toilets are available throughout the common area! That I have no idea why can’t the room offers the same facilities. Hope the resort extends our gratitude for the excellent hospitality rendered. The onsen area was ok, though it would be great if the towels provided at the place itself. As mentioned, great hospitality, good food, good for family and kids place, some parts looking tired, floors, ceilings etc. And it would have been great if this resort could be a leading and exemplary towards other Hoshino group diversity and inclusion.

We stayed here for three nights by car over the New Year holidays. The building has the feel of a repurposed old ski resort hotel, but we came here to enjoy skiing comfortably rather than to enjoy the resort, so we have no complaints. <Food> The food is very good considering it is a ski resort hotel. We end up eating too much. However, one or two dishes served from the center change at night, but the rest are the same, and the same thing is served every day in the morning, so if you stay multiple nights, you will quickly get tired of it. If possible, I would like them to provide fruits that are not frozen. <Hot spring> The bath was comfortable, but I wish towels were prepared in the bath. We brought them from the room, so we enjoyed the hot spring in the morning, after skiing, and at night, but we had to use the same towels many times unless we asked for them to be replaced. <Guest room> There is no main lighting, only indirect lighting, so the room is dark. The humidifier tank does not return properly. Check-out at 2 p.m. is very much appreciated. It is innovative to be able to ski in the morning, take a bath in the hot spring, and then return to the room. On the other hand, the internet environment is unimaginably poor. If it is known that the area has weak mobile phone signals, I think the hotel's wifi could be improved. Or they could provide a paid internet connection plan. If I have to check data for work, that's it. <Ski resort> When I went out of the entrance of the ski locker (?), the slope in front of me was not open. The selling point of the hotel was that the slope was right when I left the hotel. ? Overall, the course layout was not good in many places, and it was difficult to move between the courses comfortably. However, the snow was excellent because of the heavy snowfall. <Other> They held a "Wax Recommendation" class in the lobby, which was so good that I could say it was the best reason why I was glad to have come here this time. I took the class before the night skiing on New Year's Eve, and I couldn't help but laugh at the difference from the daytime. As a result, I waxed every night during my stay. The miso soup that was served as a welcome service was so delicious that I went to have it every day. You can drink as much draft beer and sake as you want from the evening, so I was very grateful that it was ready every day before meals lol. The parking lot was so snowy that the cars were buried, but the hotel staff cleared the snow perfectly and removed all the snow that had accumulated on the cars. I was really grateful. Overall, I was very satisfied with the ski trip. Thank you very much.

I visited for spring skiing. Since it was the end of the ski season, the snow conditions were not the best, but the lifts were accessible right in front of the hotel, and full child equipment rentals were free, making it a very convenient ski stay for families with children. The large windows from which you can enjoy the open view and the cute but stylish lounge with Akabeko on display and the simple drink service were relaxing. There is a shuttle bus from the nearest station, which is convenient, but there is really nothing around the resort, and the nearest Bandaimachi Station does not have a ticket gate where you can touch your transportation IC card, so I paid at the Shinkansen boarding station the next day. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

I went there for skiing. The slopes are not well maintained. There are many places where the slopes are not pressed together, and some lifts are not working. It may be because it was a weekday, but I hope they improve it. I think the hotel itself is average. The food is good, but it's the same every day, so if you stay multiple nights you get bored. The lift tickets seem expensive considering the size of the slopes. I don't think I'll go back. Overall, I think Hoshino Resorts provides good service. They may want to change the way they handle the ski resort.

In conclusion, the employee's "level of customer service was extremely poor." I think that ``an overly insidious customer service attitude'' is rude to people who work seriously (``Hoshino Resorts Bandaiyama Onsen Hotel also received this rating'') Specifically... - When inquiring about breakfast reservations, ``The result was incorrect.'' Even when I gave them the information, they acted ``indifferent'' (although I checked the reservation site from time to time and was able to make a reservation at the time) - After purchasing using a discount ticket, I was asked ``What did the suspicious person come here for?'' There are employees who come to the store to ask about the situation. There are also people who do not understand that not being able to accurately determine the means of transportation to the destination can lead to incorrect guidance (if public transportation・In a situation where I ``didn't understand the circumstances'', I was suddenly accused of ``mysterious accusations'' of ``pointing my phone's camera at someone else'' (my pleasant stay was ruined) ・I don't know if it's because of the influence of the group, but the taste is poor due to ``not using all the good ingredients'' or ``another factor''. If the second time was the same quality of response, there would be almost no chance of a third time (if you're a mom these days, you're guaranteed to lose).

Food *** The buffet-style meals had a fairly wide variety. However, the soup had no dashi flavor at all, so I didn't think it was tasty for a Kansai local. Room *** Since we were on a tour, we stayed in the cheapest modern twin room. The lighting was dim, as you'd expect in a hotel. There was a wall switch only at the entrance, and two floor lamps and two at the bedside, each of which needed to be switched on separately. It was a pain to have everything centrally managed by the pillow. There was a kettle and a mysterious empty bottle. No mineral water, no tea leaves, and of course no coffee or tea. In that case, you don't need a kettle. The pillow was made of polyester cotton and was floppy, but strangely strong. The unit bath was disappointing for me, who doesn't use the large public bath, and although it can't be helped since we were on a tour, I don't think I would choose this hotel myself. Depending on the room category, there may be perfect rooms...

It's very convenient because you can reserve meal times, rent skis, and purchase lift tickets in advance online. We arrived around noon, ate lunch in the lobby, left our luggage, and headed to the ski resort. At check-in time, go to the front desk, get your key, and your luggage will be delivered to your room. The appeal of this inn is that it's right in front of the ski slopes and has hot springs. The buffet is also well prepared and averagely delicious. It would be nice if the small breakfast breads were sold at the shop. You can have lunch if you go to a cafe area, but if you just want to fill your stomach, it's nice to have a shop that doesn't just sell souvenirs. The front desk is somewhat administrative. Intern students were working hard at the restaurant. Dada, I discovered a problem in the bathroom and contacted the front desk, but the response was very poor. Even though I said "immediately," no one came to help me, and the person who did come looked at the situation, said "Ah!" and left, and then changed clothes and responded after a while. I came to the office and immediately started responding. I don't know how you responded, but it was unpleasant. First, a notice will be posted at the entrance to the bathhouse to prevent new customers from entering. I would like to apologize to the person in question and then deal with it. I begin to suspect that there is no one in charge of overseeing the whole thing. Even though it's a good inn, there were some things that were a little poor this time.
