Almost impeccable place to check in. First of all, the welcome drink was given at check-in. I chose coffee and Milo. You can also taste the boiled duck made by the local method, and provide Ifugao national costumes to take pictures. The only drawback is that when the room is hot at night, it is difficult to sleep with mosquitoes, and everything else is fine.

Batad is a valley. You can stay either at the centre (360° view) or on the cliff (panoramic view). Batad Transient House is on the cliff with stunning view of the terraces and the mountain backdrop. Be reminded that a certain level of physical fitness is required to reach guesthouse in Batad as the path consists of a lot of stairs. The check in was smooth. Due to limited cell reception and wifi, I recommend you make the booking available offline. The owner Irene was kind enough to upgrade me to a double room. Strange that there were little to no mosquitoes at this place. The facilities were basic. The family also provides transport and tour services. You can consult with them for your trip planning. I had fantastic lunch and dinner at the house. Prices were very reasonable. If you are into family or warm vibes, this is the place.

Nice people and clean hostel - well positioned just 10 minutes walk from 'town'. Let the hostel know in advance of your arrival time and date and they'll meet you where the coaches arrive. Keep in mind, impossible to get food after around 9PM in this town - nothing open - including all shops. Zero bars and nightlife open past 9PM or so!

Location is beside the road and have safe car park. Restaurant food is ok but quantity is poor (ordered chicken adabo and had 3 tiny pieces of chicken). Check in and out was smooth. Room had attached washroom and hot water but very basic washroom and room. Good view of the rice terraces from the restaurant and veranda upstairs next to the assigned room. Ok for one day.

Everything is great for such a price, we liked it. But on the star I took it for objectivity so that you understand that you are not entering the hotel, the conveniences here are minimal. For example, toilets here without tanks, wash with a basket; there are no mosquito nets on the windows, etc. on the small things. Very comfortable hotel. The hostess was very welcoming. She prepared a delicious dinner for us. Rooms and amenities are very simple, but no moisture. Given the humidity and cold nights in the region, it is amazing and very pleasant. The view from the windows is very beautiful. The town itself is atmospheric and deserves a separate attention. If you travel by car, then lie here, not on Batad even more convenient! We all liked it!
